Dog friendly but very busy. Worth being patient -crab salad with beef dripping chips was worth the walk from Beadnell.

Called in for lunch with husband, son and our dog. It's a very popular place (this was our third visit) so we'd arrived early but could only get a small table in the middle of the floor, which wasn't ideal as people visiting the toilets...More

Thanks to Vera the Jolly Fisherman has undergone a transformation. It has gone from being the sort of local gem we would proudly take visiting friends to after a walk along to Dunstanburgh castle or up the coast from Alnmouth to the best known pub...More

This is a very attractive pub/restaurant with lovely views over the sea. We ate there twice and found the food very good. It is quite a small restaurant so booking at busy times is necessary. Ask for a table by the window.

Dropped in today for a quick Sunday bite. Weather was very wet so no opportunity to sit outside. Pub was very busy and the restaurant was not available unless you had booked. We had a prawn sandwich and chips cooked in beef dripping! Delicious! However...More

We live locally to this restaurant and planned to go on a special occasion which we did. We went on my wife's birthday. Food very fussy but too much a la carte. We found it very expensive for a pub restaurant with a reputation of...More
