We went in yesterday on spec with my elderly wheelchair bound mum, carer and myself, disabled using a walker!. It was early & quiet and the staff could not have been more helpful. They accommodated my mums off menu request for her favourite lunch which...was extremely good of them. She loved it! The food was delicious, our waiter Ermir was terrific.
I’m not sure people realise how difficult it is as someone disabled to go out and not be treated as a nuisance, but staff at The Peterboat made my mum feel valued and special. Highly recommendedMore
We went back to Leigh on Sea for a day of reminiscing with my dad and Auntie who used to live here.
Lovely meal at the Peterboat, fish pie, scampi, and burger were amazing.
Ermie was our waiter lovely guy. Thank you we will be...back again.More
We had such a lovely Sunday lunch, greeted with a smile, David was very helpful and we had a lovely view from our table looking at the sea! We were served by Sam and Amelie who were so good at what they do and couldn't...have asked for better service. The Roast beef was so good and the soup of the day really tasty, butternut squash with a slight kick! My husband had Roast chicken and Whitebait, also good.
All in all a really relaxed Sunday afternoon to start our 41 year anniversary next day. Oh forgot, we ordered one crumble and ice cream with a sneaky spoon. Peterboat, 10 out of 10.More
We were a group of friends booked in for a Sunday lunch, to celebrate a special birthday.
Quite simply, the food was great (we all had various Sunday roasts), the quality was high and portion sizes generous. Nice wine selection & above all, and most...notably, was the great service from the team looking after our table.
Nothing was too much trouble, the service was attentive without being intrusive - friendly and really helpful.
Special mention to Sam (I hope the name is right) who appeared to be the restaurant supervisor - you could clearly see his passion for making sure everything was running efficiently & effectively, and his team responded to his positive attitude. Extremely professional and above all, down-to-earth and super friendly. Credit where credit is due!
Thanks again, will definitely recommend & return.More
Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious food. Had roast chicken, which was succulent and plenty of fresh vegetables. Would really recommend. Clean and excellent decor/atmosphere. Served by Kash and Karen who were attentive and knowledgeable.
I never got to experience the Peterboat. We booked for my wife’s 50th birthday but miscounted the numbers in the party by two. Despite two phone calls they were unwilling to help despite the extra two people being young children. What really annoyed me was...the complete lack of willingness to help, they couldn’t have cared less. My local Turkish will benefit instead.More
