We had the nicest evening last night. Four of us had dinner at Alebro. The food was just fantastic. We had the steak and chips and the chips were the best we’ve had for years. Puddings were lovely. We all ate far too much as...we just didn’t want to leave any! It was busy for a Thursday night and had a really friendly atmosphere. A special place for dinner.More

Thought we’d try this restaurant as we’ve driven by many times. Went back today for second Sunday lunch with family and was not disappointed. Great attentive service and food was lovely. Especially recommend the scotch egg starter and roast beef & all the trimmings 😋

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff and the most delicious Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Fresh vegetables and cauliflower cheese were cooked perfectly. A bottle of Tempranillo completed an enjoyable experience. We come here regularly and we have never been disappointed. It’s consistently very good

Our first visit to this restaurant. Very comfortable, nice staff, but unfortunately the food was nothing to write home about. Quite disappointing after having heard such favourable reviews.

We have always enjoyed the quality of the meal at Alebro and the ambience, they switched to take away most effectively and provided excellent meals. We can't wait to return to the restaurant.

We have ordered several meals from the evening take-away menu, all were excellent and especially generous portions. Our only complaint is that the choice is rather limited. Collection only.

I thought I would try and support a local restaurant during these times. Our order was wrong. The roast beef was edible but potatoes were dry and over cooked. Veg was tasteless. Pate was bland. On the whole not great. Very little was written on...the containers so we had to open them to find out what was what. Having three courses this was annoying as well. Have eaten there before and it was fine but this just didn’t work for us. I see lots of other good reviews so it may just be our food.More

I do not believe that dogs are permitted inside the resturant. You might be able to sit outside weather permitting. Best to ring then directly.

Not right on top of here but you have Premier inn in Nestuda way ( strawberry fields pub) Many b&bs no more than a few miles away by taxi or car if you have not drunk too much.
