A light and airy bistro/cafe, good clean seating pleasant staff. I like to come here for breakfast as a special occasion. Outside is a life size cow and farmer made of stone. If you park in Tesco's car park there is a zebra crossing leading to a path that takes you straight there.

We called ahead to book a table for 6 of us and to let the staff know that one of us was a vegan. The table was reserved for us and the staff could not have been more friendly, and helpful with the vegan options. Great food at reasonable prices and large cups of good coffee. Far more personal than... More

No table service for ordering, so ordered at the counter, with unhelpful staff... My husband asked if the toast could be replaced with an extra piece of bacon, as he cannot eat bread. Was informed this was not possible, but he could pay an extra £1.80 for a slice of bacon!!! The coffee was awful and the tea too strong... More

We made our first visit while stopping off at Axminster to explore the town. You have to keep your eyes peeled to spot the entrances (there are two ways in both off West Street, the main road that passes through the town). They have a sign board in the street too , so watch out for that. Nice and spacious inside... More

Visit this place every time I'm working in Axminster.Friendly and relaxing. Wide range of drinks including great coffee. Ideal for a snack or lunch.Good choice of light meals including a mean fishfinger sarnie.

This is tucked away off the main street, but is worth checking out. It has a good selection of teas, coffees & cakes & the service was friendly & efficient. We didn't eat lunch, but there seemed to be a decent selection on offer. The cakes were good.

I called in for coffee and a light lunch while on a break from my volunteer job. I found the staff friendly, a good reasonably priced sandwich and lovely coffee. I do not understand why people go to the Costafortune when there is a great place like this in town.
