We went there before taking our train at the TGV station (5min by car). My dish was great (andouillette) and the others were ok. Cafe gourmand was decent too. The setting is a bit outdated and prices on the high side but overall a ok experience.

Don't go there for the food. They play it heavily on the "Bouchon Lyonnais" theme, but they fail to deliver. Still, the food is barely Ok, nothing more. the only saving grace is when the owners come chat with you. It is so appaling feeding every negative stereotype about France that it becomes entertaining. Not fluent in French ? Stay... More

We ordered 4 plates and 2 wines. Scallops were excellent, skewered chicken not so good, the other two plates were good, the wine was semi awful. The young waiter/chef was quite remarkable though harried. He needed help and the food suffered. The town is tiny and I am not surprised that this the #1 restaurant - it has appeal.

Sorry but we cannot see how so many previous diners have enjoyed this restaurant. We found the waitress to be disinterested and her pleasantness was a veneer that disappeared before she walked from the table! The food was universally tasteless bordering on inedible. We chose an avergely priced rose which was good but the meal for two was 100 Euros... More

Although the average TA score is 4 out of 5, this is way too high for what we ate in this restaurant. The ingredients were not really fresh (both the fish and the meat) and the dessert was terrible with old crème brullée and rotten strawberries. There are not many restaurants in the village but I would never recommend this... More

En route to Italy, we stopped near Aix-en-Provence for a couple of nights, and our hostess recommended this local restaurant in a nearby village. My wife had a simple vegetable pasta dish in a creamy sauce, which she really enjoyed and I had a large entrecôte steak which was had the right amount of bbq texture on the outside but... More

After renting a car at Marseille airport we soon realised it was lunchtime. We turned towards a village totally at random, only to find a couple of closed restaurants and a cafe with minimal menu. Then I consulted Tripadvisor and was directed to this restaurant. The terrace was full so we had to sit inside, but the interior was nice,... More

We were referred to this lovely, traditional French restaurant by the B&B we stayed at and we ate there twice during our 4 night stay in Cabries. Very good menu and wine list. Some dishes we had were; sardine on crusty bread entree, roast chicken, argentinian steak, tartare of mixed fish, creme brulee, chocolate mousse. All were devine. Our waitress... More
