We enjoyed a very nice lunch here, even though they ran out of lobster. We were treated well and enjoyed our fish choices. The preparation is simple, but good. The punch was a bit thin, but the Corsican rose offered was excellent. I can't find fault with this beach bar restaurant.

It doesn't get much better than this one - amazing food, Guy's personality, and even a new rum bar right on the beach. (Make sure you get the smoked marlin in some form).

I am shocked to read negative reviews of this place. Le Petibonum was recommended to us by someone we met on a Boat tour, and I'm glad we came here for dinner. If you like beach side restaurants - definitely come here, order a mojito, and relax. Service was slow - like it is anywhere on the island. I ordered... More

This restaurant has a wonderful location on the black sand beach of Le Carbet. First my recommendation if you go on a weekend night is to have a reservation. We visited on a Saturday and there were only 2 open reservations the entire night. After arriving at the restaurant at 5:30pm we were told they do not serve food until... More

Though they seem to dislike tripadvisor I feel the urge to recommend this place to the world. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant when you are at Martinique. It is a beautiful location and the atmosphere is amazing. It is always well visited (even when it's raining), the staff is very competent and always around to check if... More

Chef Guy is a delight and a visionary, and we just cannot get enough of his unique flair. Each time we visit Le Carbet, we swear to ourselves that we will save money and eat in, and each time Le Petibonum destroys our resolve immediately. Our meager French has never been a problem, and while phones are discouraged at the... More
