Amazing food and atmosphere here! Definitely try the salad or the sandwiches (with homemade bread). The salad was super rich, more than enough for a big guy like me!

We went for breakfast and had a coffee but didn't end up having food as compared to other places it was very expensive. The coffee was amazing and I'm sure the food would have been too but not on a traveller budget for us!

Cosy cafe with great fresh food, the salads were a standout. Do yourself a favour and get a smoothie, they are the bomb!

We had been searching high and low for good bread in colombia and finally found it! The food at Bonsai was amazing from the breads to the homemade sauces and all in between. Coffee was good. Staff were attentive and nice. Decor was cute, nice to sit inside in the air conditioning. Highly recommended!

We had two times breakfast, loved the fresh warm bread in the morning and the peanut butter. Coffee and juices are very good! Best coffee we ever had. The sandwiches for lunch are idem. We had the roasted chicken and again same delicious homemade bread. Owner really nice and friendly. Highly recommended this place.

Had breakfast both mornings while here. Lovely dutch guy served us both days and able to give good information on taganga. Delicious fresh produce and coffee. Big thumbs up!

Awesome small cafe close to the water in Tagonga. The Grand Bonsai Breakfast was a fantastic way to start the day. Delicious and the perfect size. We will definitely return during our three day stay here.

It was a real treat to discover Cafe Bonsai on a side street just off Taganga's main drag. Lovely place to sit inside (great air-con) for lunch and enjoy their open sandwiches prepared with delicious bread. They also offer a good range of other healthy options and fresh juices.

Great food and amazing service. Perfect sandwiches made with European style bread and great coffee made with locally grown beans from Sierra Nevada but best of all, outstanding service from the two owners. A not to miss experience!!!

We found Cafe Bonsai through a business card in a hostal in Cartagena and planned to check it out once we arrived in Taganga. The coffee is excellent and it has become part of our morning beach routine. The indoor seating area is air conditioned and has a nice ambiance while the outdoor area is comfortable, shaded and a good... More
