This was my second visit, the first visit was for coffee and cake, and this visit was an early one and I had full english breakfast. The cakes are all made in house and are of very high quality, the breakfast I had was cooked to order and was delivered hot to the table and was very tasty indeed.the surroundings of the cafe are relaxing, the staff were very friendly and always wanting to please, and to top it off the prices were so good for the quality of food...I will be back that's for sure.

Recently moved to Norfolk from Essex and was looking for new venues to have cake/coffee, afternoon tea etc. Elmham Tea Post did not disappoint. Nice small venue, all Covid precautions being taken. We had booked in for afternoon tea - very generous portions (sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese whirls, chutney & small salad), plus a selection of cakes and scones/jam/cream. Tea and coffee was also topped up. One of the cakes was a Victoria Sandwich which was so light and delicious my husband declared it was the best he had ever had. Staff were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this venue and will definitely be going back ourselves.

Given the government guidelines we had to wait a day to be able to go out and celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. But needless to say it worth the wait!
The safety measures were in place facemask to be worn to the tables, hand sanitizers on tables to use as well. Tables were spaced enough apart to not feel like you were on someone else's lap.
Great customer service, little bit of banter thrown in with professional service. Not to pushy and certainly were not made to feel rushed as a slow eater something I appreciate. My husband had suprised me with the afternoon tea option as we were staying near by and I always liked the idea of having an afternoon tea but have never had one even though I served enough at my old job.
We were given the option of sandwiches we wanted as well the bread. And was asked if we had any dietary requirements before hand. We were also given a selection of pastries, scones with jam butter & cream, then cakes as well as a sneaky extra piece. And a tea or coffee. We'll worth £25 for the two of us!
Presentation was second to nun, in my opinion and if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the mainstream restaurants then definitely give this place a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Thanks for helping us get that little bit back to normal and have a little celebration at the same time. If we're passing by would definitely stop by!

We ate here twice for breakfast whilst staying at the nearby King’s Head hotel.
The staff are wonderful and the food is beautiful! I had scrambled eggs which were cooked perfectly (I’m fussy with eggs) and Rosie who served us was super - friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
We’d also recommend the sausage sandwiches and the range of cakes they have on offer!
The tea comes in really sweet little individual glass diffusers which was lovely.
Thanks for the tasty breakfasts and great service- we’ll definitely be popping in when we’re next in the area!

Visited today for breakfast at the end of a rather soggy visit to Norfolk to visit my dad who lives nearby. What a find!
Such an attractive cafe. Served by lovely friendly smiling girls, who are a credit to your establishment . Service was prompt and they were kind enough to add to my order of poached eggs on sourdough toast some delicious avacado and tomatoes. All the meals in our group were of excellent quality....the poached eggs particularly yummy.
Lovely to see an immaculate open kitchen, where some lovely sponge cakes were being made and they looked so good my dad had some after his breakfast on the recommendation of the waitress.
The only disappointment is we had to come back to sussex afterwards! But I guarantee it will be the first place we visit next time we are in Norfolk.
(I'm sure my dad will be back soon!)
Would advise booking a table .

Living in the village I have visited several times with friends and family for lunches, coffee and cake or afternoon tea. All are amazing (especially the biscoff cake and bacon, brie and cranberry panini! 😉)
Ben, Rosie and Heather are always friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble.
You'd struggle to find a better cafe or a nicer bunch of people!

We were staying nearby on holiday and decided to visit for breakfast, me my partner and our 18 month old. We visited at about 09:15 on a rainy Thursday morning. The place was almost full and had a friendly cozy feel. It is a cafe with a post office attached, the cafe has around 8/9 tables. I am a vegan and they are able to adapt the vegetarian breakfast to make it vegan - by removing the eggs and adding more spinach. My partner ordered the full English. We ordered some toast and jam for our daughter. Service was excellent, they brought out our coffees swiftly and then made my daughter her toast so she could start eating whilst we waited for our cooked breakfast. We didn’t ask for the toast to come out first, the waitress suggested it which was a lovely touch. Another gentleman kindly picked up my daughter’s book when she dropped it on the floor. The vegan breakfast was absolutely delicious. Just delicious! And great value at £9.95 including a tea or coffee. I think the full English was £11.95 including a tea or coffee. We left feeling stuffed and happy. What a great find! They also had vegan cakes and oat milk on offer. Just fab!

This lovely tea room was mentioned in a guest book in a holiday cottage we were staying in, and I'm so glad it was! We managed to get there just in time for breakfast and were concerned we'd missed the breakfast 'boat', but wasn't a problem.
The menu choices were great. I chose the Vegetarian Full English and it was no problem for an item to be replaced. Both meals were freshly cooked, beautifully presented and accompanied with quality named tea in tea

Lovely place to visit when in the area.
We’re just passing through North Elmham when we spotted the Elmham Tea Post, very glad we stopped and had some drinks and scones.
The staff very friendly and the selection of food and cakes & bakes is impressive, you will need strong willpower to resist 😀

We just had a little break here for coffee and cake on our way out of Norfolk. Friendly little cafe where they were making the cakes fresh and bringing them out to the sideboard ready to be served up. Both cakes we had (Victoria sponge with passion fruit curd, and coffee cake) were delicious.

What a charming little tea room. We popped in for a drink and a snack. I had what I call a PROPER tasty sausage roll followed by a piece of sticky toffee pudding with ice cream ( a good sized portion ). All very nice and very reasonably priced, must call in there again.

I stayed in the accommodation behind the cafe which was exceptional chose to have my breakfast at the Tea Post on Saturday morning.
Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and owner, Ben.
Great decor, lovely variety of homemade cakes on display.
I have been a vegetarian for 25 years and it is so nice to find an original dish.
Eggs Mushroom - a toasted English muffin, a field mushroom on each half, topped with Poached eggs (Poached to perfection and I am fussy!) With a delicious hollandaise sauce which I think had a kick of chilli - superb. Served with grilled tomatoes such a great start to the day.
Tasty hot coffee, great service and a very reasonable price.
Thank you!

I discovered the Tea Post after popping into the adjacent Post Office. Initially I only ordered a takeaway coffee but I was so impressed with the quality that I returned a day or so later with my husband and we had a breakfast each which was magnificent. Each item was perfectly cooked and presented, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the Tea Post to anyone.

Ordered two afternoon teas to be delivered for a family event and a very positive experience it was. Prompt communication in ordering and delivery was first class. Rosie, Ben and staff are so lovely, a real treat to deal with. The afternoon teas were exactly what we asked for. Wonderful home made cakes, a nice selection of fresh sandwiches and the best part…..the sausage rolls (wow, these really are a treat!) They even threw in soft drink for our twins.
For anyone looking for a local friendly family run business for locally made food, try here before the rest. Will definitely be heading there again.
Thanks guys. A+++
