This is the second week in a row that we have been for a Sunday roast and we have booked again for next week already! This place will now become our local, albeit 36 minutes away, but it is more than worth it. The children's...More

Great music. Great atmosphere. Excellent food. What a fun night out! My husband and I went to a live music night here several times. We are always crammed in with everyone else but that adds to the fun and ambiance. Everyone is friendly and it...More

My 4 year old and I came across The Barley Mow this afternoon and we are so glad that we stopped by. The owners were so welcoming, basically offering the little man the meal combination of his choice (he even got a free Freddo). Quite...More

Two of us went for dinner and had a very good meal, I had the chicken burger and my husband had curry - both good. Tried their special home brew "chicken's Foot" and it was excellent. It's dog friendly and has a nice atmosphere.

When you pick what you'd like and get told that there isn't any the result is that you take second choice. The barman was quiet and sensitive to this but the landlady rather loud & pushy. That said, having described the butcher's standards & source...More

Welcoming people and although the long wait for the food it was well worth the wait and very big portion I recomend the monster massive burger. This is a repost from another, non-official TripAdvisor account for this Pub. I was kindly asked to repost on...More

You could almost think it was a mirage, coming across this quirky, tiny pub in a small village in the middle of the Derbyshire Dales. How can it do so much in one comfortable, old-fashioned, cosy room? Own beer (brewed across the yard), good wine,...More

Used to be very quiet years ago, but recent visits have been busy and bustling; justifiably so. Beer is good, food basic but decent, and a lovely quiet area by the road - which can get very busy in summer. Toilets outside are basic but...More

I don't know the answer to that, I'd say give them call. Collette and Mike seem happy to accommodate wherever possible.

Hi there ! Yes we love dogs as long as they are well behaved. I can book you a table, I just need to know what sort of time. Try and let me know ASAP as it's Mothering Sunday and we will be very busy I imagine. Thanks a lot... More

The Barley Mow is a lively and eccentric Free House located in the beautiful village of Bonsall. Famous for the 'World Championship Hen Races', and for being the most likely place to be abducted by aliens according to UFO magazine ! Fine food, great ale & one of the best live music venues in the area !
