We called today looking for a dog friendly cafe for a cuppa and a slice of cake. Didn't even make it through the door, a rude lady glared at us and when we asked if the dogs were allowed in (bearing in mind there was a dog already in there) she snapped back at us yes but I already have... More

Stopped for coffee and sit out of the cold. Small selection of cake, tea and coffee. One soup on offer. Also various boxed goodies.

Stumbled upon this little gem last week when visiting Langholm and needing some lunch. Tasty baguettes (still warm from the oven), paninis and sandwiches as well as a good selection of cakes. Was also delighted to be offered decaffeinated coffee AND tea - a rare delight 😊

The menu was not very inviting and very expensive. The service was ok but housework ongoing while we ate. Cleaning windows we were looking out of. I would not return to this cafe.

This was our first visit to Langholm. We found this restaurant next to the hotel we were staying in. Quite small - only perhaps 8 tables. The atmosphere was good, the staff pleasant and the food very good. The service was leisurely - which suited my wife and I but might not suit everyone. The food was freshly made and... More

I han never used truly scrumptious before. On entering one lady is what you would imagine a Victoria governess would be. She has a cant be bothered attitude. Place is clean coffee ok and scone was actually good. However with Mrs attitude I would rather use Pelosi across the road or Whitshils just as you leave Langholm heading north. As... More

Stopped in for a light lunch, homemade tomato & basil soup with bread & butter, then pot of tea for two served in China cups, proper tea with a strainer and smoked salmon and cream cheese on fresh brown bread with a good salad garnish. We both enjoyed immensely. What a pleasure to have something prepared by somebody that cares.The... More

Called in for a brief breakfast stop and enjoyed decent hot coffees and a couple of tasty cheese scones. Pleasant surroundings on a quiet morning, after a leg stretch around the characteristic atmosphere of this village.

We met family in Langholm on a typical Scottish summer day - it was pouring of rain. We looked for a cafe for lunch and found this one. On entering it appeared there was only a table for 2 and we were 3 adults and 3 children. A table of 4 at the window was reserved. We asked if we... More

This cafe is central and had some nice food. The coffee was okay. The staff were helpful. No toilet for customers.
