Chanced upon this cafe before we visited Bridal veil falls and Kawagong Main Street. Was so pleased with my cappuccino and maple walnut treat treat that we went back for another visit before we left Manitoulin Island for Toronto. Got to chat with Sandi, the owner who decided to open the cafe on Thanksgiving morning. THANK YOU for being our last stop before our long road trip. I enjoyed having the cappuccino (yes, you are selling a drug!) , creme brulee cake, pumpkin whoopie pie and asparagus cheese phylo pastry. All quality products worth the extra price. I was smiling for hours. Hope to come back next summer!

Cute little cafe steps from the famed Bridal Veil Falls. Great stopover to grab a sweet treat or coffee concoction. We went there twice and got a bunch of stuff: their straightforward coffees like cappuccino to their 'fancier' ones like salted polar bear (salted caramel, white hot chocolate mochaccino); their sweets like the creme brulee cake and pumpkin whoopie pie; and their more savoury stuff like an asparagus phyllo pastry. Service was also impeccable: friendly, efficient, with just a touch of homey-ness to make you feel welcome every visit. Overall, I thought their offerings were good but a tad too sweet, while my wife loved all of them. Whatever the case, we definitely agreed that this is worth a visit (or two) if you're in the area.

We like to ride for a couple hours and then stop for coffee and cakes. On the island you can ride for a couple hours and stop. But there is no coffee and cakes or restaurants for that matter. This is totally true on Sunday and Mondays. The best you can do is go to the grocery store for a premade sandwich. When you do find a store that sells coffee there is no place to sit and enjoy it. Like every other day we saw Sugar Bush on the map and developed zero expectations. SUGAR BUSH. What a fantastic coffee shop and bakery with a beautiful deck. Best on the island. Hands down. Right up there with 13 years of cyclo touring in many parts of the world.

We came in for Americano Misto with coconut milk, the lady should have been given better training in making coffee. The coffee was watered down and a different type of creamer was used, it was not coconut milk which could be catastrophic if we had allergies. This could be her first time making coffee and reading labels, we were already miles away to discover this surprise water we were served.

Our first visit and we loved it. The cappuccino was great and we shared a yummy pecan tart. Looking forward to trying other menu items on future visits. The owner was really nice too. Don’t forget to check out the shop upstairs, some great items for sale (as well as downstairs). Thanks again!

We stopped when staying in Kagawong. Service and coffee and the carrot cake (!) were all good. They have a covered area outside where we could sit and eat.

We stopped here after a long day of touring Manitoulin Island. Very unique shop with lots of goodies, great coffee and friendly staff. My latte got me through the rest of my drive. If the day had been nicer, I would have enjoyed some time on their patio.

In the middle of Manitoulin Island where you’d expect to encounter only deer and the odd gas station, it’s so surprising and exciting to be confronted with a fancy coffee house! I stopped in to refuel my caffeine-O-meter and the cappuccino and egg salad sandwich were fabulous!

Fantastic location and quaint inside staff are amazing. I had The salted polar bear, recommended and a cupcake and a cheese scone and they were absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely return!

Little gem near bridle veil falls. Awesome selection of drinks and treats. Clean. Friendly. And best of all, our dogs could sit with us on the deck!! ❤️
