In terms of a coffee shop it seems to offer much of what you would expect at a fair price. I like it because it's independent and it has a unique calming rustic atmosphere. Friendly service, good food, nice location on the old down town strip.

This place has yummy homemade soup and paninis. I've only once been disappointed in the soup and I eat a lot of soup. Must have been an off day.

This restaurant has good coffee. The only issue is that's it's small, so you won't get a lot of Seating. Would come back here again.

Used the private room today for a business meeting. Love the fresh soups and decadent sandwiches. Always fresh and priced right.. Usually young happy people to serve you..it's a unique eating experience. Today was scrumptious clam crowder.

My kids loved their drinks from here. The apple cider had a cinnamon stick in it and the hot chocolate was equally as fancy. My Earl grey was not good, as they put enough tea in the tea bag for 7 cups. It was just bitter and tasted a bit stewed. I will be much more specific next time. It was clean and well decorated and priced the same as most coffee shops. The staff was not overly warm or friendly but they were not rude.

Great place, I am there everyday for my first coffee in the morning, if you ever get tired of waiting in drive throughs and want to get out of your car this is the place. Great food too , everything is homemade and the coffee tastes the way it is supposed to.

This is a small family run coffee shop where the family actually makes and serves the food. Super friendly people who take pride in their shop.

Wow was I impressed! Fabulous cappuccino and lattes! On par with any Toronto establishment. Loved the peanut and chocolate squares and the eat-more squares. We went in the afternoon for a walk and we were delighted to see that they had sidewalk tables and chairs, as we had the dog and the new baby with us. Much more convenient to stay outside. They also have a very comfortable area set up for those who prefer the indoors. Highly recommended!

After the Grind, is a great coffee house for people who like supporting local businesses. The food is homemade and the beverages are carefully crafted for excellent taste. The breakfast sandwich is a favourite.

Love the small town, homey feel of this place. Theres something about an old building on mainstreet that has an unbeatable atmosphere. food is good and staff are friendly. sometimes its a little slow (seems to be a common theme among restaurants in this town??), but the great attitude of the staff more than makes up for it. being family/baby friendly is also a bonus as places that welcome kids are few and far between.
