Ok, so fish and chips places are usually greasy food right? Well, not all of them. This one however, possibly the greases fish and chips we have ever been to. Hey, we even tried again, thought maybe the first time was not a normal day or whatever. Nope, yuk. Staff are great, place is clean but the food has to... More

We usually eat here a couple of times a month. This time we ordered to go so we could eat at home as my wife had just gotten off from works. The staff are always smiling and friendly. Service is always top notch and today was no different. Our order was up very quickly as the restaurant was very busy.... More

We popped into Salty's in Langford last night for a takeout order. The situation was unusual. I rarely buy takeout food. That might change after my visit. The fish were cooked perfectly. The batter is thin with no discernable grease. The fish was moist. We had a mix-up in our order. The Salty's staff looked after it cheerfully. I certainly... More

Can't beat Tuesdays all you can eat fish and chips. This place is always busy and the food never disappoints. Never greasy and lightly battered fish. So good!

Small restaurant with several regulars giving it a friendly atmosphere. Our server efficient and very welcoming. Fare was as expected, but not excellent. May return because of friendliness, if not for the food.

Went into Salty's the other day... We hadn't been for awhile.. Decided to eat in ... Service was very friendly but very small portions and the fish was very greasy, to the point of leaving a small puddle of grease on my plate... Will not be back anytime soon... Too bad!

I visited Salty's while driving back towards Victoria after hiking near the Sooke Pools. It makes a great stop and a great way to fill up! The fish is great, the fries are definitely made in-house, and the fact that you can get a lot of great food for a decent price just makes it all the better.

If you like British fish and chips this is the place for you. It is British style fish, greasy and salty, but very good. If you don't mind the calories this is the perfect comfort food.

Orders are large, coleslaw, fries and fish with thin crust. Halibut was awesome but expensive, three people nearly $59 for halibut and chips. Tasty. Many customers just order take out. Staff were friendly.
