We visited with friends who had dined there a week before so the hostess altered the menu so they experienced a different delicious degistation. Each course was described to us in detail and the variety of tastes was excellent! We were also given a copy of our menu as we left. Thank you Christine!

My husband and I have been lucky to have eaten at this excellent restaurant over the past few years. The food is always beautiful, delicate flavours using seasonal produce of the region. The staff are friendly and very professional. The wine list is extensive and the staff are helpful in selecting suitable wine to compliment the menu. The venue is... More

We were disappointed by our experiences here. There is no choice - that can be fine - but the portions are very small and the food was overcooked. I had a really horrible piece of fish that was simply inedible. Bread was incredibly stale in spite of there being an excellent bakery right next door. The room is quite pleasant... More

Our experience at La Belvedere was a major highlight of our trip. We too the Nature menu for lunch at EUR59pp with 5 courses +amuse bouch and petit four. The food was of an extremely high standard...highlights being the crispy escargots, beautifully cooked pigeon and the dessert......well the dessert was probably best I have ever had. A muscavado sugar cylinder... More

We came as a table of 12 people and did the full tasting menu. Everything was creative enough to stimulate but without any weird tv-show type stuff. The excellent staff made sure to explain and tell the story of the dishes and wines and the entire experience was lovely and delicious.

We discovered Le Belvedere in Bozouls by chance, as a result of wondering what the Trou de Bozouls might be. This in itself is well worth a considerable detour, one of the natural wonders of the world. Anyway, the food ambience and welcome of the restaurant knocked our socks off. Since then, we have been back pretty much every year... More

We stayed at Le Belvedere Hotel at Bozouls for two nights in October...clean, comfortable room (no. 2) overlooking the amazing Bozouls Trou!! We dined in their restaurant on one of the evenings...a truly fine dining experience!! Wonderful delicate flavours, fine wines, lovely decor, friendly and unpretentious...a relaxed, very enjoyable evening!!! We would definitely recommend this hotel and especially their restaurant.

Our third lunch in 3 years at Le Belvedere. As usual, absolutely brilliant. Superb attention to detail, great food, wonderful flavours, impeccable presentation, consistently first class and not expensive by the standards of the great restaurants in France, of which this a worthy member.

This is one of the best restaurants in this category we have been to. It is run by a couple: Christine at front of house and Guillaume in the kitchen. Staff were efficient and unobtrusive and Christine was very friendly visiting all the tables during the course of the evening. We had the fixed "Nature" menu at 52 euros a... More

We booked lunch at Le Belvedere without any expectations, as we were simply looking for a location approx. half-way between Laguiole and Rodez to break our car journey. What a treat it was to discover the wonderful food of Guillaume Viala. We both chose the EUR52 Menu of six small courses, which included fresh local vegetables, tiny fillets of trout,... More
