When you see whipped cream being served from can as your dessert, you should definitely start to question the whole "fresh" experience. The food was good, but not as good as the it should be for the price.
My husband and I had lunch here during our honeymoon. We came during “off season” (October) and were literally the only people dining for lunch at the time we went 13:30 on a Tuesday afternoon.
The views are excellent and there are about 8 or...10 tables on the outside terrace, but plenty of seating inside. I imagine it gets very busy during the summer.
We got a meat and cheese plate to start, I don’t really eat meat/cheese plates but I thought it was very good - definitely on the smaller side from ones I have seen which was great for 2 people. I got the truffle pasta and my husband got the walnut pear ravioli. Both were great and full of flavor with perfect texture pasta. Perfect size for lunch. Service was very friendly.
If you are driving there is lots of designated parking spots in the area, but during tourist season not sure how many spots there are - we had no troubles finding a spot.More
We stumbled upon this place driving around Tuscany. I am always wary of restaurants with a "panoramic view" - they seem to believe that you won't notice that the food is terrible if your view is spectacular. Since there aren't a lot of choices in...this beautiful little hilltop town, we took our chances and we were not disappointed. The rooftop terrace was small but comfortable and our waitress was fantastic - especially considering she had to run up and down 2 flights of stairs to serve us. We loved our meal and wine and we enjoyed a view straight out to the sea! If you're driving around Tuscany this place is definitely worth a visit.More
Riccardo was very friendly and helpful in our order of our shared meal of grilled lamb ribs wrapped in lardo, wild boar tagliatelle, insalata, crumbed zucchini flowers....all good . Loved their huge caffe latte too! Will definitely return if I'm lucky enough to revisit this...lovely part of Tuscany/ cecina . It is the loveliest time to see ItalyMore
This little village has several restaurants which all look good. We chose this one as it has a roof terrace. The food was typical Tuscan food and was wonderful. The staff and owner were welcoming and friendly. We passed a couple of hours here eating...and avoiding the rain. Great!More
Sitting on the upper terrace of this restaurant with a view over Tuscany scenery is the best thing you can get in this place. As the food was not okay. The meat and tuna was overcooked making it dry and tasteless. Even the french fries...were ruined with the addition of so much salt.
The staff was however friendly and they did not charge us the full bill but still, I would never go again to this place.More
