We only had a quick dinner, which turned out to be delicious and very fairly priced. I would recommend this place for food. I did not try wine since they do not serve any organic wines.

it is tucked away down a side alley and the menu is extensively filled with local fare. There's snails, tripe, rabbit, local antipasto, and local wine. Friendly service and lovely food!

We had an OK meal with OK prices. The restaurant seems to be preparing for winter. Not so special this time.

I had three meal at Taverna Via di Mezzo during my stay in Tuscany and I had to admit that this place make me feel like "home". Prices are very good compare to other areas in Tuscany. As soon you enter the door you hear...very welcome Ciao! Food are typical homemade Tuscan with a plenty of good vegetarian dishes! However, tripa and fiorentina steak were absolutely amazing! Highly recommended porcini pasta with a good bottle of Tuscan IGT wines! then a little break to have some space for a chocolate cake or cantuccini with a glass of Vin Santo! We have visited many places in Tuscany however, this place make you feel like at home! Thank you very much to Suzanna! you made our stay at Casale Marittiamo very special! Aga and Raffaele!More

I love Italian food because of it's simplicity and subsequent deliciousness. It's easy to identify the ingredients of most dishes just by looking and tasting. This is a blessing for us with silly intolerances. The restaurant is comfortably arranged and the staff very friendly.

We visited this restaurant for a lunch. Surprisingly we were the only guests. The waitress was very nice and helpful but a bit slow. The meals we had were really tasty and freshly made. The offer is rather small but represents typical Tuscany kitchen. We...definitely recommend this restaurant and in case we will get a chance to visit Casale Marittimo again, we will also go to this restarantMore

This restaurant is delicious and not expensive. We had polenta with ragu made of wild boar and eggplant (parmigiana). We had a local wine which is very good as well (Pagani de Marchi - later on we went to do a tasting in Pagano de...Marchi, they are not listed here but worth going there - get the info how to do it in this restaurant).More

I have been a countless of times in Tuscany and I have always looked for a good place where to eat, I am so glad we found this place in this "un-planned" weekend break, because this restaurant has a strong spirit of Tuscany ... yeah...great...food, (we had a wonderful, super tender, tasty CHIANINA; exactly how a Chianina should be!) echanting athmosphere, friendly staff and good wines ... lovely lovely tavern! Oh yes I am in Tuscany!More

This place is amazing, great atmosphere and great service as well. If you like filet, you have to try the filet with truffles- it is second to none. The Lasagne is unbelievably good as well as the mixed appetizers plate. Typical tuscany dishes at a...very high level with reasonable prices. Reservations are recommended. Great place !!!!More
