We stopped for gas and feel in love with the cozy shop inside. The owner, who's roots are deep in Cape Breton, took time to share her passion for her home, her business and offered tips of local hot spots. We took her advice, found...the lighthouse and returned to pick up our lunch: corn chowder and a Monte Christo sandwich. Lip smackin' delicious. Speaking of delicious ... the carrot muffin piled high with cream cheese was the BEST! Two thumbs up and 5 gold stars!More

Cozy atmosphere featuring historic and interesting decor. Fun to pick from the delectable baked goods and tasty meals to enjoy inside, on the little deck, weather permitting or take to the beach for a special picnic.

Small cafe with good pastries. Place to sit and relax. Some small crafts available, but beautiful hands-spun wool in multi-colours, done by Sarah Nettleton, a local shepherdess. A must buy!.

This little out of the way spot I discovered only through a local maritime "taste of nova scotia book". Once renovations are complete this coffee shop should be a go-to place.

Loved this location as we visited for coffee twice today. Great conversation with the locals as we got to hear and see the history on the walls. The old photographs have QR codes for additional info and your choice of music with google play.

We travelled to Isle Madame with friends and stopped at this French cafe located in an old refurbished garage. The coffe was fresh and excellent and we had their moose years with Nutella it was excellent. They bake every day and their selection of baked...goods is excellent. They sell souvenirs from the Island and are very unique. Their carrot cake muffins are to die for.More

The coffee was superb, and the staff super helpful. It's an added bonus that it has a service station, so we could fill-up on coffee and gas-up.
