I used to like this pub, the beer and food was fairly decent, although always a bit on the expensive side. however, now the price of beer has gone up, over £5 a pint for anything decent, I guess they have to pay for the...More

The name made us try it. I has been refurbed in the last year or two [it was in a sorry state] but now it is a pleasent experience. It is typical pup food with helpful staff and near the the centre of Redhill Since...More

This was the second time we have visited this place. It didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is really good and the food is excellent, although it can be quite pricey. But it's worth every penny. The roast we had was very tasty. The staff is attentive...More

So many friends have recommended Home Cottage to us but every time we've left making a reservation too late. We seemed destined never to eat there! Until last week when, midweek, my wife and I wanted to celebrate some good news and went for an...More

I have always enjoyed the food in the home cottage. I had an amazing 3 course dinner with my partner yesterday and the food was just exquisite. The main which was the slow cooked pork belly was one of the best thing I have ever...More

The food is good but the cost is quite a bit above what you'd expect, including drinks. The most atmospheric pub in redhill because the bulk of people going know it's a bit more expensive. To some it would prove prohibitive.

I used to frequent the Home Cottage mostly on a Friday or Saturday as it was by far the nicest watering hole in Redhill, and the outdoor seating made it ideal for a summer's day with family or friends. However, since the 'refurbishment' - which...More

Description
Nestled in the heart of Redhill, The Home Cottage is a magnificent pub and dining room that has been refurbished to its former 19th century glory, providing a stylish and contemporary interior in which to enjoy time with family and friends. We have a great range of drinks including our award winning Young's Bitters, an extensive wine list and both traditional and signature cocktails.

Our creative head chef, Marcin, showcases the best of traditional British food with modern touches and Mediterranean influences on our seasonal menus. As Young's Food Pub of the Year 2014, we pride ourselves on varied dishes of a high quality, paired with fine wines from around the world and traditional cask ales, all served by our friendly and welcoming staff.

Whether you are a local or a visitor to the area, you will always be offered the warmest of welcomes, so sit back and relax in our cosy bar, our light and airy dining room (which becomes more intimate once the candles are lit), or chill out in our garden.
