This restaurant is not easy to get to or find. There are signs as you get closer but GPS will help. This establishment is actually the house restaurant for an ecolodge in the mountains. We went to Hunts Gardens and then to Naniki for lunch. We were the only people there. The dining room is open air with a roof... More

View was very nice, service friendly, but food was the typical buffet fare you get on a catamaran and expensive. It cost US$42 per person (not including drink) and is a bit of a harrowing drive. Also "jazz" brunch just means a CD.

We visited here after visiting Harrison's Cave in October 2016. The view at Naniki boasts one of the best on the entire island, though the drive up is a bit scary, since the restaurant sits on top of a mountain, with a lot of crackled road. (A litter of cute little kittens were scurrying along the road, which was adorable.)... More

setting overlooking the rain forest near St Joseph Parish is well worth the visit if not for the food then for the view. We were the only clients for lunch when we visited. The chicken sandwiches were delicious and the service quick and efficient. Before leaving we had the pleasure of meeting the friendly owner Tom Hinds, who gave us... More

The food was good and the view of this side of the island was impressive! Some green monkeys were around as well. The friendly owner gave us good tips for the island.

Naniki is a hidden Gem in Barbados. The environment is heavenly with a surprising mountain range view, lush green, friendly courteous staff, and great food. The live guitarist really added a romantic glow to the memory. I will definitely return.

This extraordinary gem is tucked away in a secret part of Barbados, in the heart of the country, in St Joseph. It is in a small village and as you travel to this destination, you drive through the delightful village of Suriname. The restaurant is well-run (we were greeted by the owner, Tom Hinds on arrival). Service was excellent and... More

Naniki is worth a visit for the location alone. Do not be put off by reports that it is difficult to find, as there is good signposting from the main road, and you will be rewarded with a restaurant perched on a hillside, overlooking the rainforest, with distant views down to the rugged east coast. We were welcomed by very... More

We have been to the the round house a few times and so wanted to try somewhere different, we decided to try Naniki and we loved it there. The view is amazing as you are very high up, surrounded by trees and grass it was very peaceful and serene. The waitress was very friendly and looked after us very well,... More

We were recommended and directed to this very pleasant eating venue by Anthony Hunt after a visit to his wonderful garden. Very hard to find and poorly signed, we were lucky to get there for lunch! Surrounded by beautiful countryside and part of a complex of luxury holiday lodges the restaurant has great views across a grassy clearing. The lunchtime... More
