Expect to get ripped off? Not at all. Really nice home cooked food with a twist of individuality. Nice coffee pure and simple non of your mocalafitoffalotto. And really pleasant staff. I was happy to enjoy what was presented and delighted at the VFM.

My daughter and I booked for the Mothers Day afternoon tea. What a treat! Beautifully presented with a fabulous range of sandwiches, quiche, scones with cream and mini cakes and chocolate mousse. Washed down with prosecco and lots of tea. We sat in the conservatory on a sunny day and enjoyed a very friendly atmosphere. Well done to all involved.....a... More

Lovely cafe and food. Perhaps more vegan options would be good, however what I did have was lovely! Staff are very friendly!

Had lunch during a visit to the museum. The homemade food was lovely..I had soup and crusty bread which was wonderful and the lemon cake is the tastiest I have ever eaten. Clean great homemade food and pleasant staff....Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed the building as much as the tasty vegetarian savoury tart and lush cakes! Book shop up the stairs was handy while the food was being prepared and it was great to gently explore the museum and then have access to this cosy cafe right next door - especially on a rainy day - a great refuge when exploring the... We used to come here every year for a lunch and had a great choice including fantastic venison burgers but the last two years have only seen a couple of items on the menu and this year the haggis brioche was very disappointing. if limited the food has to be good. Inline with loads of other pubs and restaurants there... More

Disappointed. Met friends for lunch but disappointed by poor food. Tarte was short on portions. The staff highlighted this but still could do better. Senior staff member was quite rude and abrupt to my wife when pointing at menu stating it it is as it always is. Will not be back. Good manners cost nothing.

The cafe has a lovely glassed-in dining area downstairs that allows guests to enjoy the fresh, well-prepared food while overlooking a portion of Kilmartin Glen. You can see cairns from your table! The food was good and hearty. I had lentil and potato soup, which was tasty and satisfying. And the restaurant is only steps from the Kilmartin Museum, which... More

I love this cafe for the setting and the atmosphere, with the food standard generally being high. However, the service has been patchy in the past and was certainly not great this time. The cafe wasn't busy and there were 5 members of staff working, yet our order took a long time to arrive. I had ordered coffee and cake... More
