We were there unfortunately without reservation, we were informed that we have to wait about 1.5 h which was inevitably fine for us. We sat down in the garden in the lounge. Although we have communicated that we want to have a drink to bridge the waiting time, unfortunately we were not noticed. Finally we were allowed to sit down at our table. Since we were placed in the garden, the service also did not come by so often. It was very disappointing that not all dishes were available, which you can expect at such prices. Nevertheless, the food brought was excellent. We would visit this restaurant again despite the high prices and recommend.

Whilst on holiday in Antigua with my family we stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant.
The staff were courteous, engaging and instantly made us feel welcome.
Their menu offered a range of dishes to suit everyone and served smaller portions for my daughter who is 11.
The owner made a personal effort to ensure our needs were met and spent some time speaking about the restaurants history and places to visit on the Island.
Although only in Antigua for 8 nights we visited this restaurant twice which is unusual for us.
This was easily our favourite restaurant and will definitely return if we go back to Antigua.

Amazing hospitality and incredible food! My family found that no other restaurant in Antigua cares for their guests as much as Fox House does. The menu is well thought out - all locally sourced, and the food is as delicious as the atmosphere is charming! A must try when in Antigua.

We ate at many different restaurants during our week long stay in Antigua. Was so looking forward to a great final meal at the Fox House. But the experience left our party of four unimpressed. In particular the "traditional lamb stew" was not as depicted on the menu. Just a bowl of mush with 4 large bones and lots of fatty meat. Plus no trace of the carrots, peas or potatoes. The staff were indifferent to the fact that one of our party ate practically nothing. Not what you expect for a bill of over $450 ECD.
Really poor food and service at lofty prices.

✨ Step into Fox House to celebrate a birthday with the guest of honor, and we were warmly greeted by the owner herself, Mrs. Fox—also known as Avella. She seated us immediately, and soon after, the waiter offered an apéritif. I skipped it to dive straight into the wine 🍷. We were presented with three menus, including the Tuesday Special, but we opted for the tapas menu, which was a delight! You could feel the chef's passion in every bite, as though a piece of his heart went into every dish ❤️. Honestly, I could have eaten the bones (oops! 😄).
We started with a pumpkin soup to open our palate—simply divine—and ended with crème brûlée. The place was packed, and the ambiance was just perfect! What a niche spot to enjoy some Caribbean fusion in a great atmosphere. The barman was in his element, proudly mixing his cocktails in a handcrafted leather apron 🍹. Shoutout to the lovely Zoe (Mrs. Fox’s right hand) for her kindness and for treating us to some extra lollipop chicken—a must-try! 🍗
The night ended with a heartfelt farewell, and I have to say, this place is a true gem! 💎

We were four friends in Antigua, went to The Fox House for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we made a second reservation during our stay. The food, service, everything was perfect! They even have a shuttle to pick you up and drop you off in Jolly Harbour!!!

Lovely food and great service.
Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Food was delicious and minor adjustments were accommodated for our fussy kids.
I did feel that usd25 for a bowl of pesto pasta was over priced, even by Antigua standards and the carrot cake was disappointing.

I had dinner in this restaurant attracted by the reviews, which now happens too often, they are misleading. Nice place, courteous staff, I ask what the catch of the day is, which is served on a bed of polenta. Never-never, I am told. After 15 minutes I was served a plate containing a rectangular-shaped slice typical of vacuum-packed trays, of an unspecified fish, weighing approximately 30/40 grams, fried, and placed on polenta. Low quality.
Price for two people with water and a single beer, 90 USD.
I expected everything from the catch of the day, in the Caribbean, than to eat a slice of frozen fish, poorly prepared and of little consistency

Visiting the Fox House Restaurant was a delightful experience. Their full menu - from drinks to dessert - was quite tantalizing, and we loved that suitable options were available for those adhering to various dietary systems. Our hosts were very professional and attentive...great local food, service, and ambience in a relaxed, laid-back setting. By the way, their vegan carrot cake is yummilicious!!!

Our family of four just had an amazing meal at Fox House. The crispy pork tortilla app was a huge hit and my 15 yr old son said the burger was the best he’s ever had! My daughter loved her beef tenderloin and my husband said the Mahi fish special was perfectly prepared. I loved the vegetable cous cous, the seasoning was the perfect combination of flavors. The meal ended with the homemade lava cake which oozed chocolate yumminess.
Our meal lasted 2.5 hours because we loved the music and atmosphere. Our server Kai was a delight and we enjoyed speaking with Lady Fox about how she has managed to open a successful restaurant in such a challenging time (December 2020).
We hope to eat there again during this visit to Antigua and we highly recommend you go!

We had passed this restaurant a few times and noted it was new since we were last in Antigua two years ago. So given the excellent reviews we thought we would try it before returning home.
Well we weren’t disappointed! My wife had made our reservation by e-mail and we were delighted by the warm welcome we received from Zoe when we arrived.
This superb service continued throughout the meal which began with delicious and unusual Caribbean cocktails. The whole menu was interesting and extensive, featuring fresh locally sourced ingredients, prepared local style with a clever twist. The portions for starters and mains were generous, truly delicious and reasonably priced.
The restaurant is open sided with a small central bar area, creating a lovely environment on a warm tropical evening. Ms Fox the proprietor took the time to visit each table, chat to the guests and ensure they were enjoying their dinner. We will return!

If you haven't sampled the excellent cuisine of the foxhouse pub restaurant then you really are missing out. I had a terrific meal with friends there last night,
The staff are friendly and helpful,enquiring about the meal and were we all okay.
The menu is varied with steak, chicken and pork, vegetarian food and a specials board,offering dishes to suit your taste
I chose the pork steak and mustard and mushroom sauce. The steak was juicy, and delicious, to accompany the steak a crunchy fresh salad and a basket of homemade chips.
The foxhouse has a real Yorkshire feel,I can imagine a roaring fire in the winter months whilst enjoying the panoramic views of the Pennines and our stunning Yorkshire views.
You won't be disappointed an excellent meal and a superb host
Thank you foxhouse I shall be there for the scrumptious Sunday roast my taste buds are exploding already in anticipation

We loved this restaurant. We visited on our last night on the island and otherwise would have eaten there again. We will aim to visit again on our next trip to Antigua.
The restaurant has a number of local specialties and also items such as burgers (beautifully done by the way) for those who don’t want local fish or curries. Something for everyone on the menu, I would say.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the owner and manager stopped by for a personal welcome and chat. I also found them to be very helpful around allergies and intolerances, and they even had a gluten-free crepe on the menu, which was delicious!
It was not immediately clear where to park, as it’s roadside parking on a busy road, with ditches on either side. However, a staff member came out to help us and all was well. Maybe if you don’t like parking on unfamiliar roadsides in the dark, you can treat yourself to a taxi, leaving yourself free to enjoy the delicious-looking wines and cocktails. I will say, though, that they produced a very tasty mocktail for me, which went down very well.
All in all, we had a lovely evening and hope to return in the future.

We had read the reviews and The Fox House was walking distance from our villa. The cocktails are a great introduction to Caribbean dark and whit drum. We had coconut shrimp, the seafood creole pot and the pulled pork to start…delicious! Pineapple glazed pork, Mahi Mahi West Indian curry and the seafood pasta for mains. Also delicious! All made from scratch. Zoe looked after our 6 year old who was very tired after a long day at the beach by serving her burger early and when one of us felt unwell towards the end of the meal (a bit of heatstroke) she was also very understanding. We will definitely be back as it was also great value, especially as it was Friday Happy Hour on the cocktails…we had too many 😂

We missed out on our last trip a year ago so made it a point to visit on our first night out. Easily made a reservation via email. We have driven by numerous times during our island visits but the place is so different during the night hours. We were promptly seated on the patio and enjoyed the ambiance of the evening. We had a wonderful young woman who served us (Ki I believe) and later had a pleasant conversation with the engaging owner. As for service, we were asked the pace at which we were to get the courses served so never had an issue with our “island pace +”.
My wife and I each had the coconut shrimp app, and each a fish dish, with mine being the salmon special. All superb!
A wonderful evening and were so glad that we finally made it to this wonderful little spot with great food, ambience and a lovely team!
