Fish was incinerated and inedible and fried chicken was raw inside. On complaining the chicken returned to the table still dangerously undercooked, but minus some of the serving (which was miniscule in the first place). Red wine was served in glasses crusted in grease and food from previous diners and the service was virtually non-existent. Our complaints were ignored and... More

Nice goats cheese with mojo sauce, can't say much else in terms of the food other than I wish I'd stopped in and cooked, it was awful...

Lovely little restaurant and bar. Good classic Canarian food-the platos combinados are good value, and the queso asado (grilled cheese) is particularly good. Home made mojos and aioli are tasty too.

We have been travelling to La Palma for many years and always look forward to at least one meal at Pino de la Virgen. It is our opportunity to enjoy some of the traditional dishes of La Palma - including goat and rabbit. The menu is quite extensive so there is plenty of choice. We have always enjoyed eating in... Village bar/restaurant. Food was typical local cuisine of grilled meats, meats in sauces and sides of salads, vegetables, frites and the local dish of potatoes in their skins. It was all well cooked and tasty and there was plenty to choose from on the menu. Service was a little on the slow side but we were on holiday after all. It... More

We came here two times. The first time was pretty good! We had fresh fish and lamb shops and salty patatos which were nicely cooked, warm and good of taste. Second time was a disaster. They served the starters and the main dish at the same time. Starters were cold. We also asked for extra fresh vegetables and again the... More

We went for lunch here on our way up to Roque de los Muchachos. Lots of locals as well as tourists, busy for a Monday. Not being goat or rabbit enthousiasts (both apparently good here), my son and I had chicken, my husband had a delicious beef stew with rice and my daughter had the fish 'fingers' and chips from... Unless you are starving and everywhere else is closed. (Good wine however). Chips hollow and inedible. Puntagorda is quiet but there are 2 or 3 better places, mostly on the other side of town.

No one spoke English which was fine as we are in a Spanish speaking country! Menu is in English and German as well as Spanish though. Lots of local people drinking and playing darts. Restaurant is separate. The log fire was lit for us which was atmospheric and welcome on a cold evening. They bought bread, mojo and aioli all... More
