Lovely place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast outside while watching the world go by. Not a large menu, but good. This may be the only place open for breakfast so also is a good place to have a conversation with both locals and other visitors. Nice way to start your day.

The Coffee shop appears to be the only place open in the morning in Castara. The breakfast is standard eggs, bacon, saltfish, toast, coconut bake etc. Gorgeous iced coffee, which goes down nicely. Thoroughly recommend this place but do not go if you are in a rush or are an impatient person as service is in Caribbean time. Some members... More

If you are visiting Castara, you will pass this place everyday. On the main drag, it is a fun place to stop and chat with other visitors. We loved having breakfast and lunch here. Simple, good food. They had CNN playing on the TV.

Best iced coffee ever - but when Cheno says iced coffee he really means more like milkshake :) Great breakfast and BBQ on Saturday nights, where locals and tourists all hang out

I had dinner here my first night in Castara, and it was delicious! Saturday they have a BBQ and steel drum music, and it was great! The family who runs it are very friendly, and as a solo traveller, I felt welcomed and safe. The coffee shop also has great breakfast, yummy muffins!, wi-fi, and offers tours and taxis to... More

We were in Castara for 2 weeks and had breakfast here about 6 or 7 times. The breakfast offering for $TT50 is for either Coconut Bake or Toast, with 2 sides from eggs, bacon, salt fish or cheese. Its served with tomato, cucumber, water melon and sometimes pineapple, and filter coffee. Other coffees (espresso, capuccino etc.) are available separately. Coconut... More

We visited The Coffee Shop (also known as Chenos) on several occasions. We were there for a delicious breakfast and lunch. We also had a very good latte and coconut ice cream there. On Saturday night we went to Chenos for BBQ and steel drum night. There was dancing and great food. We had a lot of fun and we... More

I visited Chinos 4 times. 3 Breakfasts and one Dinner on a Saturday night. Overall very good and I am pleased to see that the prices have moderated since previous years. There is no serious competitor in Castara for Breakfasts apart from a few places that include breakfast for their guests but even then it is quite nice to come... More

Drove from where we were staying in Stonehaven to Castara and had breakfast in this little restaurant/coffee shop. It's quite small with only a handful of tables and, as they were very busy, we were lucky to get a table. We ordered our food and it took an age to arrive but when it did it was superb!! I had...
