Not a great experince Im afraid. This place was stone cold empty in peak season so the atmosphere wasnt brilliant, although it is in an amazing position, so should be packing them in... Seating and tables outside are lovely so agin, it should be busy right? Im afraid the Food was very average and the credit card machine was broken,... More

We always come here for the bottarga pasta but recently this was taken off the menu... had to be happy with Linguine Vongole instead, happily enjoyed outside under olive trees - one of my favorite spots in Sardinia.

We ate there with 6 and ordered several different platters. The pasta was tasteless and bland, you could only confirm you had gotten your fish egg pasta by a faint smell, it's taste wasn't anywhere to be found. The mushroom sauce was equally disappointing. We did enjoy the mixed meat platter though, with several different pieces of meat from different... More

We were very disappointed with this restaurant. Very expensive and not that tasty. We ordered two pasta dishes and found the pasta to be over cooked. The mains were fish and although well presented, it was not what we ordered on menu. Service was slow and white wine was warm.

Not a good choice. Found service to be slow and quite unorganised (forgot to bring bread and white wine was warm and of poor). Mirto digestive was warm and the measure was pityful. Food was ok, but nothing remarkable. On our avoid map as it is expensive and best forgotten.

Van Gogh is a curiously themed traditional Sardinian restaurant set amongst the mountains on the beautiful southern coast. When we arrived we had mixed feelings, the restaurant was fairly quiet and the staff spoke only very limited English, but we sat down had our aperitifs and reviewed the menu. Van Gogh serves only Sardinian dishes, so don't expect to find... More

Fresh-made pasta for lunch while looking out over the hills - what is not to like?! Reasonably priced, and all of our party enjoyed their meal

Very high prices for small portions simple food. This was most expensive dinner for our family per week in Sardinia.much more expensive that good restaurants in Villasimius and Cagliari center.House wine we ordered was the worst per all week. We requested smaller and cheaper offer for kid.Really we got french fries with sousage for 17 EUR. Owner is welcome and kind.

We stopped for a quick lunch and were dissappointed by the pasta dishes we ordered. We never wanted to go back, even though the restaurant is well situated and has a nice terrace.

Having read the last review after visiting the restaurant last night, I wondered if we had gone to the same place. We chose to visit because of the strong recommendations of both the owners of our 2014 holiday villa plus an article in the Guardian. We were not disappointed. Starting with the Sardinian Antipasta as a sharing platter ( Cheese... More
