Service was quick, polite and helpful. Surroundings are very beautiful with Aegean character. We ordered Symi shrimp (in Karpathos they call it Karpathian) and fritto misto (fried fish and seafood). The quality and quantity were perfect for us: served really warm with fresh cut salad and oven potatoes (both served separately). If you are on Karpathos you must go!

We shared a plate of gyros for lunch. The taste of the pork was extraordinary and with the sides it was easily enough to eat for us both.
The waiter was very thoughtful and told us about the way they grill the meat. Best gyros we have tasted in Karpathos so far!

A great place for lunch/dinner. Professional and attentive staff - could probably use a little bit more of the Greek spontaneity though. Excellent food. Very cozy atmosphere, although the street right outside of the terrace might get somewhat busy and bothersome during the day.

I stayed in Ammoopi 12 days, I visited the restaurant 10 times! it is the best, the food is great with local products (they produce their own fresh cheese daily), always fresh ingredients and the taste is like home. the family who runs the place along with the other guys provide the best service. It is always crowded, so I used to go late. Highly recommended!!!!

This is one of the best restaurants in amoopi. It is locally accepted fact - you can trust us. Service is proud and professional. Food is all excellent, you should order everything here. They serve Mamos, my favourite Greek beer. The specials are always worth it, they are always interesting and new and well prepared. Service is fast. They smile at children. There is a little play area out back, by the grape vines.

for us this is the best restaurant on the island!! best food, top service! they know how to deal with food intolerance (glutenfree).. we have been there in august (2020 - corona!) and everything was just fine!! hope to see you all again. sorry we never asked for your names :-) steffi & günter from Austria!

While wandering around the beautiful island of Karpathos, we decided to have a late lunch in Esprridas tavern. Friendly hosts, great, tadtefull and drlicious food...
I highly recommend it!
After a meal, you can swim in beautiful Amopi Bay.

There is something in this tavern that makes you feel comfortable. The staff is super friendly and the service is very fast and professional. The lady is very charismatic and always smiling. You don't see it everywhere. As for the food goes, it is Excellent. From appetizers, to main course and dessert I have no bad comments, only good ingredients. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

We stopped at this restaurant by chance and it was a great surprise, so that we went back for dinner. Great menu with local recipes and the plates are big and delicious. To add, the people working there are super welcoming and kind. Highly recommended

Fantastic food - considering that I’m vegetarian and finding several good vegetarian options this is not so easy - and super kind staff. In addition to the standard menu there are also daily proposals. The tables along the open windows are amazing in a windy evening 😎

The best restaurant on the island, friendly staff, very good food and reasonably priced. Probably a good idea to dine early, like 19.00 at the latest. At 20.00 the place will be completely packed.

Been here many times and they are just the best. They cook wiith a feeling like no one else. Very very fresh and we love the staff and owners. By far the best in Karpathos / Amopi.
