This is a terrific little beach restaurant. Sadly no octopus salad this time but we enjoyed some excellent grilled mackerel x2, calamari, fresh sea bass and three beers all for 40Euros. Yes it's scruffy but the food is fresh and well cooked. The service was very good and it's excellent value. Ticks all the boxes for me.

Real beach bar cum eatery (to call it a restaurant is far too posh). Smallish menu of freshly cooked simple food at reasonable prices. I had catch of the day (sea bass) which was perfectly cooked with a light but tasty sauce and came with Canaries potatoes (again perfectly cooked) and a salad for 9.50 Euro which I thought was... Don't know what the fuss is about here, much better places to go in playa Santiago. Service is patchy, place itself a dirty shack with ancient tables and chairs. Food nothing to write home about. It's location is the only good thing about it.

Went on the recommendation of others on trip advisor. Was not disappointed, as the seas had been a little rough for the fisherman, they decided to do a special of meatballs in red wine. Was excellent. Had to wait a little while for a table, but I see that as a good sign. Good service , busy but not over... More

We had a lovely lunch here. The food came very quickly, was piping hot, very fresh,. We had the fish of the day (sea bass, and also tuna), plus prawns in garlic and calamari. Very happy with all of our choices. Lovely view. We would have given this review a 5, except we found the waiting staff to be rather... More

Great beach location; good service; good food. The best Calamari in town. We visit this bar for lunch every few weeks, and have never been disappointed

You might well wait for a table as we did both times we lunched here this week, but then relax in the almost-open beside the pebble beach. If you listen and follow the fish specials you won't go wrong. They change daily and run out before the kitchen closes late afternoon. We had super tuna, sea bass and mackerel. Unsophisticated,... Views over sea. Quick service. Some wait staff friendly!!! Wine was cheap and cold. Sorrano ham was excellent. Portions of chips are very large. Laid back. Good for easy lunch.
