The pasta were extremely salty, and in my opinion nothing like you get in Italy, service average at best, it felt very rushed, it is beyond me how this place is number 4 in Formentera. Probably because of how easy it is to bump into...it, smack into the main roundabout of the town?... We went by recommendation, perhaps we should have gone elsewhere. Big disappointment, really no redeeming quality. Hate to give bad reviews but have to, sorry.More

I mostly review on the experience I have had when it all worked out and it's worth saying that we ate lovely food here on the time we went and the team serving were friendly, it's just that we tried to go several times and...failed (see below for why) and on the time we went it was a little chaotic in terms of service. On to the food - lovely artichoke salad (perfectly cooked and dressed), a light version of melanzane parmiggiana (well done) and delightful seafood pasta (a single dish was enough for 2 with two starters at lunch). All of it was so nice we wanted to go back and they were clearly popular given the customer turnover we could see while eating. Here's the chaotic bit - on arriving for lunch we're told we can't move to the table straight away so we wait at the entrance but after 10 mins nothing seems to be happening despite several tables being vacant for the entire period so we check again and are immediately seated (we get to choose one of several places). So part of the wait seemed to be down to miscommunication. Having learned the lesson about their popularity we try to book one night - but no-one in the hotel can get through as no-one picks up the phone at the restaurant end. This happens on two separate days - on the first one it appears the restaurant is just closed that day (as we passed by at lunch and in the evening) but the website doesn't say this nor does the hotel have any knowledge of it. On the second occasion, no answer again, so we go in person that evening. It's open but the front of house says 'it's impossible' for them to answer all the calls and they're fully booked. So I'd suggest going in person to book (and it's all a sign that the food is good :))More

The only bad thing about this place is that you can’t order everything from the menu! Excellent pasta, killer desserts, loved the tiramisu and chocolate cake!

Been there six or seven times. Always a fun place with nice crowd. Pasta is good and certainly al dente although sometimes extremely salty. Last time the pasta was so strong-taste and salty that we left most of it. Service is patchy, sometimes nice but...mostly in a hurry.More

I think it’s all been said by other reviewers. Excellent food. Front of house staff take a bit of warming up but once you’ve sat down, ordered some food and drinks they are fine. Chef came out to say hello to diners, which was very...nice. She’s clearly very talented. Super night. Pleased we visited.More

Restaurant writes on his homepage to book a table via WhatsApp. I wrote two times. No reaction. I called via phone five times. No reaction. No: sorry we have no free table. Nothing!

Authentic food, friendly service in a no nonsense and rustic setting. We really enjoyed our pasta dishes - the quality and freshness of the ingredients really stood out. Our only regret is that we were in Formentera for only 1 day! We would loved to...have returned here again. The waiters were so passionate about their food. One almost feels as if you are a guest at an Italian family’s house. Just brilliant. Don’t think about it - just go and don’t forget to book!More
