The owner changed the fish of the day to give my mother the sardines she wanted, they were delicious as was our fish, the best meal we had during our holiday. The situation is lovely right on the sea edge.

My Mom and cousin went over to Melinda's while I went to explore the beach area be away from the crowd and just enjoy the scenery. I later joined them to have sone yummy thick calamari...so different from the... More

My husband and I had some of the best food in Santorini at this place. It is situated right on the water and the seafood served is fresh and cooked to perfection. The service is very pleasant and they accept credit cards.

A great place to stop, have a drink, snack or meal looking out to sea with the sound of the waves. It's close to the bus stop too. Friendly staff and reasonably priced food.

Melina's tavern has become a regular place for me as i am visiting the island for a while. It never fails to satisfy me with the best food and wine. Fresh fish at all times (depending on tbe day), and very good prices and hospitality. You must visit!!

Right on the seafront and within 100 metres of the archaeological site of Akrotiri, it's a lovely place to while away an hour or two to have lunch. There are other restaurants (which you have to walk through Melina's to get to), but we chose this one because it had a nice atmosphere. The special was fresh fish with some... More

Melina's Tavern is a waterside restaurant close to the site of Santorini's ruined city of Akrotiri. The bronze-age city was buried under a deep layer of ash following a major volcanic eruption in 1627BC. The site is being excavated, a task that it is thought may take 100years to complete. It can be visited for a small entry charge. Melina's... More

While we couldn't find something on their main menu that we were in the mood for, hubs and I ordered the fried cheese and the grilled calamari at Melinas. We were slow to get service after we were seated, but after our waiter figured out we were there, the service was fine. The fried cheese is just out of this... More

Melina's Tavern invite you to taste the best food Santorini has to offer. Enjoy the traditional dishes, the wine and the sea is right at your feet whilst you eat.

The atmosphere of Akrotiri, once part of the Minoan civilization centuries ago gives a mystical feeling of the ancient part of the island.

We welcome you to experience this magical place.
