Saturday night dinner for 2 and this was one of our best fine dining experiences in the region over 11 years. The regional quality is high but in terms of quality presentation and imaginative dishes here this was one of the best. It was London standard without the cost. Sure it was more expensive than local restaurants but for a... More

Great well informed attentive service adds to a really excellent meal. The food and wine are top notch, and a great deal of thought and creativity goes into the food. The wine prices are a little on the high side though. Best place in Limoux!

Nice little restaurant with high standards. Plenty of room between tables, crisp white linen and lovely food served by friendly, attentive and efficient staff. The Sauvignon I enjoyed was beautiful - crisp, fresh light and "flowery". This place is well worth a try and I sincerely hope to pay a return visit. Must have a siesta next time!

We chose a menu with wine supplied for each course, and it was very good indeed. The service was friendly, and there was no problem with small requested alterations. There aren't many tables, but the atmosphere strikes the balnce between privacy and sociability well. I gather that the restaurant is a relatively new enterprise run by a young couple: if... More

The lobster menu is totally exceptional, don't miss out on it if you are in the area but bear in mind they need you to book 72 hours in advance to be sure of sourcing the lobsters from Brittany. I won't spoil it for you by giving too much detail but they serve 4 courses all involving lobster and they... More

This has to be the best restaurant in Limoux! There aren't many tables in this restaurant which makes it a bit more intimate than the other run of the mill places we went to around the square. You normally have to book but we were very lucky on our first visit and enjoyed it so much we managed to book... More

If we hadn't read about this restaurant first on Trip Advisor, I guess we would never have given it a second look. In a small side street a couple of streets away from the main square it looks nothing from outside. Step in through the doors and you step into a beautiful 2 roomed restaurant with stone walls, washed with... More

Having read all the positive reviews, I so wanted this to live up to it's billing. L'Odalisque is in side street away from the main (tourist-trap) square which probably explains why we were the only diners in a restaurant of 30 odd covers. It is run be a young couple-he is the chef and Madame is front of house/ waitress.... More

Odalisque is a small gourmet restaurant two blocks from Limoux’s central downtown square but far better than any café restaurant on the square. We went there for lunch and were delighted. There are several levels of menu. We liked that we could select either two or three dishes (entrée, main course, and dessert), great for lighter eaters. There are two... More

Atmosphere was very relaxed and despite our limited French we were able to build a good rapport with the waitress - who was really helpful. The food is amazing and even a pea dish becomes extraordingary. Only slight criticism would be that the English translation of the menu could do with a second look as some of the descriptions were...
