Tasty food, quality and very good genre. I don't put 5 stars for the bread detail, you don't order bread with tomato or garlic oil, they serve it to you without asking and then they charge you. I'm not saying that for the money, but in my review, you should ask before you serve it.

It's a shame I discovered this restaurant late, the food is excellent. I was able to eat the typical Gandia fideua even if I was alone (usually in other restaurants they make it for at least 2 people). The fideua was very good, tasty and "creamy". Excellent service and kindness of all the staff.

We ordered the vegetable rice and it was very good. I am a rice lover and the truth is that I loved it. We ordered some tellinas as a starter and they didn't seem like anything out of this world. The rice paella was for two and two adults plus a 5-year-old child ate. Too much to be able to repeat, so the quantity was very good. The service is one of the best things about it. They are all super kind, attentive and friendly. We ate on the terrace and although it was windy, we had a great time. I would repeat without hesitation. I recommend it!!!

We were on vacation and I wanted to go to the famous tanatorio restaurant on the coast of Gandia, two visits the same week and if I had kept the first one it would be a 10 having gone two days is a 5. On the first day, a weekday the restaurant was almost full, the first shift is at 1.30pm and the second at 3.30pm. Quiet service attentive waiters very good service , good food and enjoyed. Second day as it is possible that if the first shift is at 13.30 arrives at 13.20 and this restaurant to burst service pretty bad the waiters passed one after the other asking the same as the previous , I order the food and the truth rather worse than the previous day asking for exactly the same and what to say of the paella first day spectacular taste with its socarrat the second .... Simply rice. Waiters down the aisles like headless chickens, since the aisle is narrow try to take advantage of the space but pass back and forth without carrying or bringing anything....one after the other.... Then I advise to go yes of course but on a weekday it is quieter and they can enjoy and the kitchen and waiters can do their job properly. And the fault is not the kitchen or the waiter is the chef for wanting to give more than he can encompass. Regarding the opinions that they charge bread, if true. Well or badly done I don't look bad it's done in many restaurants and it's also not an abusive price that you say you're cheating and they charge you 10€ ... But if you don't want to, I guess if you send it out, they won't charge you.

I am sorry to have to write this review since restaurant chef Amadeo is considered one of the best restaurants on Gandia beach but this time the experience has not been positive: 1.- They have established two shifts at meals, this harms the client for the benefit of the company, at 1:30 you have to be there and when there is still half an hour before they throw you away, they are already telling you to leave because they are arriving The other shift, the waiter told us twice and the third time they sent us to the boss and for the record we had not yet used the two hours that corresponded to us. 2.- We ordered a cod paella and told us three times that we wanted socarrat, the result was a brothy paella. 3.- As you were eating the paella you found thorns, not at all pleasant. 4.- Some tiny and industrial desserts. 5. - A restaurant that charges you at least 40 euros cannot prioritize its interests over quality. I trust that Chef Amadeo will return to the quality and good reputation he has always had.

How I regret writing these words. They hurt my soul. On YouTube I am an admirer of chef Alonso. In fact I have half learned how to make paellas thanks to him. I specifically stopped at his restaurant in Gandia on my trip from Malaga to Barcelona to taste his paella and thank him. What a great disappointment. I could say that it is one of the worst I have eaten in my life. !How is it possible! The kitchen was run by a sub-Saharan person who did everything he could - the restaurant was packed while Amadeo sat at a banquet collecting bills. Very friendly treatment from the ladies who, without being overwhelmed, attended to us the best they could. I will never come back.

We booked the day before and everything was great, we ordered scallops, boiled fish market shrimp and seafood paella, the shrimp and paella were exceptional. Very attentive and organized service and Liliana's wonderful service. We will return without a doubt.

Good food but not over the top. Good salad, cold and bland tellinas, normal zamburiñas and a just right senyoret rice, with good flavor but nothing special. Of course, the service stands out, the waiters are very attentive and pleasant.

We were desperate to try authentic & quality fideua in Gandia & visited Amadeo after consulting a number of online lists. We hadn't made a booking & it was a Sunday so we didn't hold high hopes when we went past after 1 pm & it looked very busy. It felt especially hopeless when we saw they were ticking people off a list of names they had! We decided to ask if a table for two was available & thankfully there was! Staff were helpful, friendly & welcoming. A pack of bread was on the table & they brought over tomato paste & olive oil as well as aioli. These were all extras which were charged. We ordered a burrata salad on recommendation of the wait staff. The cheese which was similar to mozzarella was served with tomato, some caviar/ roe (??), salad greens, capers, salted cod (?), bread sticks, pesto, etc. Different from the usual salads, very fresh & tasty, though a tad salty from the fish & capers. When the fideua arrived, which wasn't as long as we had anticipated, it looked so dazzling & tempting with a few prawns & langoustines on the top!! There was a huge amount of pasta for two & it was infused with rich, deep & yummy seafood flavours 😋😋😋😋 The pasta wasn't overcooked or mushy. There was quite a lot of seafood mixed in, particularly cuttlefish which was very tasty. The only disappointment was there wasn't much flesh on the prawns & langoustines & some were a tad mushy. All in all, the meal at Amadeo's was the best of our trip. We enjoyed everything we ate & our first taste of fideua was stunning! The portion was generous & we were stuffed at the end! The place ran like a well-oiled machine - staff were very efficient & food was served in good time, without inordinate periods of waiting. Although they were very busy, we never felt rushed & were able to enjoy our food at our own pace. Amadeo's was a real gem! We would definitely recommend a visit when you're in Gandia!!

A 10 in capital letters, we were eating with the family, we called to reserve the same day in the morning and we were lucky and thank goodness! A fideua like we had never eaten before, a bread with an aioli that cannot be explained with words and attention from all the waiters of 10!!! When we return to Gandia we will repeat it without hesitation! Well deserved the awards it has ❤

It doesn't disappoint. The fideuá is delicious. Fast and effective service. Coeliac options. It is the first time we have found fideuá for coeliacs and a lot of dishes suitable for them. The attention of 10 especially Joan. Amadeus is at the foot of the canyon. In addition to the fideuás we ordered mussels, chickpea flour and lobster with tender garlic and ham. We were 6 people and a 4 year old girl and came out at about 30 euros a head. We'll definitely be back.

I follow Amadeo on social media because they gave me the link and we were finally able to go to his restaurant in Gandia. It did not disappoint us as we expected, to the point that being on vacation, we went a couple of days to eat their incredible rice dishes, and another day to have lemon fish for dinner that was spectacular. Amadeo the owner, a super charming person whose kindness amazed us. He gave us some Valencian pink tomatoes from the field, which we thought was a great detail. Thank you very much for all chef.

Amadeo has won several times the Concurso Fiduea de Gandia , which is the traditional dish of the town. This is the place to experience this incredible pasta dish. Chef Amadeo was my neighbour cooking next to me at the Concurso Internacional de Paella Valenciana de Sueca this year. Amadeo was not there but Mariano was the chef in charge preparing fiduea his skill in the preparation of this dish was exceptional. In fact the entire team were phenomenal. Outstanding dedicated staff are the exception and these guys were amazing. The fiduea was muy muy bueana pinta, a taste explosión. Make the effort fir an incredible culinary experience. Thanks Restaurante chef Amadeo team

We're going across xon our sailboat south. On Sunday we already ate here where everything was very good and where we ate the best lobster rice of my life (and I have eaten many many many places). Today, already back, we have not hesitated to eat again where Jorge has treated us beautifully and where he has advised us on what to order. We listened to it and it was a 1000% success. Jorge's attention has been exquisite, very friendly and attentive and a crack advising. God willing, we'll be back.

I had high expectations but they were not met. Tables very close together on the terrace. Uncomfortable place, and very well dimensioned service. Average food and bad fideuá. Curiously, the seafood that is normally dry and overcooked, here was juicy and good, but the noodles and broth.....
