This is the very most southern restaurant on the Balkan peninsula, let alone the Peloponnese! You might expect to be taken advantage of, but no! This place is as authentic and friendly as any local Greek taverna... and the prices are so very reasonable. Di I mention the location and the view?

Sat for a late lunch after our hike to the cape. The lady in charge was very friendly. The food was delicious and the greek salad we got was fresh with local produce and fresh seasoning from their garden!

We only had coffee here as it was midmorning, but it was very informative as we got into a discussion with the owner who told us a lot about the history of the area. The view is stunning and we would have happily eaten there if it was a bit later. It was very clean and the coffee was fine.

Typical of fresh seaside Greek restaurants. The five rating is because there is no better view of the most southern point of mainland Europe. You have Cape Metapan on your Western side, temple of Poseidon on your left and a Roman dedication to Apollo in front with the customary Mediteranean view. Two harbours a lighthouse and cave of Hades within... More

The shouthest point of mainland Europe, you will find a small village with a tavern, beautiful waters to swim, an old church, an ancient roman prey facility and after 2km walk the Lighthouse.

One of most wonderful places in Peloponnese, at the extreme south of "Mani" finger, near Cape Tenaro (Cape Matapan) there is this wonderful place just above three little beaches. The madame can serve you typical Greek food and good beers, but you will have eyes only for the sea in front of you.
