Really pleased to have come upon the Tao whilst checking out restaurants for dinner and lunch during our most recent holiday in Bali. Tao offers a range of Asian in particular authentic Thai cusine. The restaurant is unusually spacious and open which is a plus in Bali, and it has a beachfront location with views of the boating and water... More

Situated on the beachfront across the road from the Tanjong Benoa Beach Resort is Tao a top quality Thai restaurant with all the favourites like massaman curry and pad thai as well as other Thai and Asian dishes. Indoor and outdoor seating this restaurant is part of the hotel so is a little more expensive than the in street options... More

Good burgers for lunch, enjoyed the Vietnamese spring rolls, fresh coconuts, fresh fish and prawns, delicious Nasi goreng and satay of course! Good menu selection and great service. We ate here almost every day as it is part of the tanjung Benoa beach resort, looks over the beach and you can see lembongan island in the distance. Definitely a restaurant... More

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and service was very attentive. We ordered their specials which are 3 sauces gurame, Black pepper Prawns , mango Salad & soft shell crab curry. The food had flavour but it lacked the spice. The most disappointing dish had to be the prawns as for the price they served 3 pieces :( The curry... More

This place had a great atmosphere and setting, but it stopped there. Whilst the staff were professional and they could not be faulted. The level of value for money just was not there, the food was tasty and nice, but just seemed to lack that "Bali something" and regular visitors to Bali will know what I am talking about. We... We visited Tao twice during our stay and loved it both times. The garlic chicken was excellent. The setting is lovely, we sat outside even though it was raining lightly on our second visit and the waiter was very sweet and worried about us sitting in the rain but it was fun

Been twice now, not only because it's close to where we are staying but because it is comfortable with great food. The drinks are a bit pricey, but with 2 kids in tow we aren't drinking much. Sit outside and admire the lights on the water while eating great Thai food.

Walking along the beach we came across, the Tao. We escaped the noise of the water sport action and discovered an amazing array of tastes! Service was lovely, food was divine! We will be back, next time we are in TB
