Visited here after reading reviews on here. Service was amazing without being intrusive also very informative about menu and our needs didn't try to oversell menu. Food was exceptional and really good portions. Good spacing between courses. Would thoroughly recommend.

My husband and I had lunch at La Riviera Bistro yesterday and it was delightful all around. We were met by very friendly staff and the food was fantastic. I had the Duck Confit and my husband had the Barramundi, both were delicious and the atmosphere of the bistro was authentic and reminded us of holidays we have had in... More

A small nicely decorated French restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. Six for dinner. Between us we had garlic prawns, cheesy garlic baguette, chicken liver pate and pork terrine as entrees … and fish papillote, steak bernaise, roasted lamb roulade, and braised beef cheeks as mains … plus 2 different desserts. Absolutely delicious, and not one fault or complaint between the... More

We have eaten here a few times and sadly our latest visit was disappointing. The staff was as welcoming as usual and we had a nice table outside. The onion soup was o.k. but not as dark and "oniony". The snails on our first visit were excellent as prepared in garlic and butter (without shells) and served traditionally in snail... More

We went to La Riviera a couple of years ago for dinner. This time we had the 2 course lunch time special. Fantastic. We had a choice of either roast chicken or barramundi and the 3 flavours sorbet. I had the chicken, It was so tender and most and delicious. My husband had the barramundi he said it was moist... More

My wife and I thouroughly enjoyed our dinner at La Riviera. My duck was perfection and my wife's boullabaise was delicious. The house french wine was a bit tanniny for our taste, but probably fits a heavy french meal. Recommended!

For some time have heard good reviews about this little unassuming French Restaurant set over the road from the Noosa River. I took two female friends.. One who is battling cancer so hoped it would be a special meal out for us. We were not disappointed. The service and food were excellent. We had a glass each of French Sparkling... More

We walked in off the street not having heard anything about La Riviera before. The service was outstanding - so friendly and obliging. We absolutely loved the pate and terrine platter - best we have had in a long time. The coffee was fabulous along with the chocolate eclair. Thank you for a lovely relaxed experience with a lovely view... More

We visited for a special dinner on Valentine's Day 2017. Service was slow but worth the wait. Hostess Melanie was charming. Priced at $110 for two, 3-course meal with a glass of French Sparkling wine was very good value. Sauces were of fine-dining quality.

We are a small venue of 35 seats on the Noosa River by the Colonial Resort, 239 Gympie Terrace, located on a upper level from the foot path, so keep your eyes up and look for the blue/white/red Umbrellas.
We are open mostly Wednesdays to Sundays for Lunch and Dinner but occasionally on Tuesday nights as well during the busy season, like school holidays.
As we are the owners operating the business, we occasionally close throughout the year, please look up on our website or Facebook page for more details.
