Very friendly service We had sandwiches on our first visit , both the tuna and chicken were ravishingly tasty with a fresh side salad to compliment. I als had a cappuccino and unlike ,any establishments the coffee actually tasted amazing. It was quiet when we were there but is is in a prime location to visit the Powell cotton museum... More

My wife and I stopped for a latte plus lemon and white chocolate muffin which were very enjoyable after our visit to the Powell-Cotton museum. Limited space in the cafe inself but plenty of room outside.

Not very polite staff. Food very expensive, £6.50 for 1.5 slices of cheese on toast with a very basic side salsad and a little coleslaw. I think they rely on the fact that there is no returning trade, it is all transient, therefore they can be expensive and not of a good quality. My view is appalling. Take a picnic

I am disappointed you didn't enjoy your experience with us, the majority of our trade is repeat custom. Our pricing is well considered baring in mind our business costs, staff costs and ingredients. The Welsh Rarebit is chunky toasts and a portion is three triangles with a homemade rarebit topping a generous side salad & coleslaw that should fill the... More

Lovely home cooked food in great area with views of Quex house. Very enjoyable to sit under the trees and enjoy cream tea or Victoria sandwich cake. Food was delicious and freshly made to order. Highly recommend

Lovely spot in the sunshine for a weekend breakfast. The food was nice quality, I had a vegetarian breakfast and my husband the full English (he did say that the sausages / bacon are not as good as our local butcher Allworth's). Service was good and the coffee was also good. However £38 for breakfast felt a little steep, especially... More

We came here for lunch, for the first time, before a visit to Quex House and the Powell-Cotton Museum. It is right opposite the entrance to this, and by the House/Museum car park. It overlooks a field and, although on the small size inside, also has several outdoor tables set outside on a grassy area under trees. The only reason... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our Café, based on your comments I have made a couple of changes. Ideally we aim to welcome each customer as they come in but at busy points we are sometimes unable to so I have put up signage to let our customers know the ordering system, ordered extra table menus and...
