A great little find, dogs were very welcome- was busy for a Tuesday lunch time. Had a beautiful fresh lunch, friendly and attentive staff. We booked that day for an evening meal when my Mother in law visits, Can't wait to go back.
We visited here to celebrate my mother in laws' 80th Birthday. She is quite hard of hearing so we asked for a quiet table. The staff were superb and so helpful. The food was excellent and they made a great evening for our celebration.
This is a top draw place to meet, eat and catch up for a pint of cider or whatever your favourite poison is. The food is very good, I had the haddock and it was to die for. I'm not sure what is like in the week but if you want a table I would definitely recommend booking well in... More

We only had a drink and a bar snack (scotch egg) that was lovely. All the staff seemed friendly... More
See under hotel - pub review submitted there in error. Good beer, good soup and good pate. Attentive and polite service.
Was recommended by friends, and we were very lucky to get a table ( cancellation ). Really gorgeous olde world decor and the locals were so friendly! Food was excellent and portions were perfect. Spent a lovely cosy afternoon.
walked to this charming historic pub from our log house holiday home. the team were very professional and friendly. nothing was too much trouble. good wine list with lots of affordable wine. Sunday roasts delicious, a very memorable sunday lunch.
