An absolutely hidden gem, a quaint county pub. Excellent food and service and quite good value. Will most certainly be returning

A great little find, dogs were very welcome- was busy for a Tuesday lunch time. Had a beautiful fresh lunch, friendly and attentive staff. We booked that day for an evening meal when my Mother in law visits, Can't wait to go back.

We visited here to celebrate my mother in laws' 80th Birthday. She is quite hard of hearing so we asked for a quiet table. The staff were superb and so helpful. The food was excellent and they made a great evening for our celebration.

This is a top draw place to meet, eat and catch up for a pint of cider or whatever your favourite poison is. The food is very good, I had the haddock and it was to die for. I'm not sure what is like in the week but if you want a table I would definitely recommend booking well in... More

Back in 2014, I came across this business - fast forward to 2017 and (I'm afraid) no improvements to the building appearance has taken place, it seems the business was temporarily closed while exchanging ownership...or at least that's the current state of the hotel segment. The Service Experience - the staff seemed forgetful, in two occasions the menus (wines and... More

Went here with some friends for dinner on a Tuesday evening. A very cozy restaurant, the decor is somewhat dark so I'm not sure I'd want to dine here on a warm summers evening. The restaurant wasn't very busy so service was prompt - perhaps a little too prompt as our starter drinks arrived at the same time as our... More

We visited here whilst on our honeymoon at a local log house. We walked to the wild duck and received a warm welcome from the bar man and it was also dog friendly with our dog receiving a treat straight away! We only had a drink and a bar snack (scotch egg) that was lovely. All the staff seemed friendly... More

Was recommended by friends, and we were very lucky to get a table ( cancellation ). Really gorgeous olde world decor and the locals were so friendly! Food was excellent and portions were perfect. Spent a lovely cosy afternoon.

A traditional Cotswold Inn with a rich history. Perfect for a Sunday roast or simply a pint of local beer.Ivy droops over the Cotswold stone of this beautiful, sixteenth century coaching inn near Cirencester. Expect proper English, seasonal pub food using the best ingredients we can find. Our lunch and supper menus are deeply rooted in everyone's favourite British classics. Tuck into Pork Belly Confit or Roasted Guinea Fowl Breast or try one of our legendary Sunday roasts which are worth the trip just for the roast alone.
