After recently taking over ownership of this venue, the new owners have managed to turn this venue inside out, literally. The whole restaurant was revamped and the change has been spectacular. It now looks lovely, light and modern. The P.P.A.H. has become a firm local favourite with their hosting movie nights, pub quizzes and great live music. The menu has... More

Great vibe. Craft beer is tasty and the food is good as well. Will definitely be going back to try some more beer but for now the Soweto is my favourite.

Me and a few friends went to watch the rugby at this establishment. Big variety of beers on tap. The food was worth the price. Service was bad though...

Lovely setting both outdoors and indoors. Extensive beer list including craft beers. Delicious, good quality tapas platters.

A pub well worth visiting should you pass by Parys. Good, quality pub grub with a beer wide variety of beers to choose from. The waiters are friendly and the service is fast. Good for a long lazy lunch with friends!

Great craft beer available. Not sure about food. Atmosphere is jovial. Prices were fair. Looks like it could be quite vibey at night

Had a great lunch but the drink prices were ridiculous. Because we were on bikes we ordered small pints of craft beers but at R35/R40 for a half pint we felt we were being ripped off!

Stef, I am glad you enjoyed your lunch. I am going to try and explain the pricing of craft. Craft beer is always a more expensive option. Here are a list of some of the reasons: • Craft gets produced in very small batches with high quality ingredients, making the price per liter much more expensive than big breweries. •... More

Limited menu, no options for vegetarians. Watrons not knowledgeable about menu, although very friendly. I ordered and got a small cappuccino, when my friends wanted to order the same, they were told that PP only makes espressos. On the plus side, they offer a discounted, no options, breakfast for parkrunners. Will not go there again

Louis, The Pickled Pig started out as a bar and I think we succeeded in establishing a lovely small menue that focusses on quality and fresh produce. I will add a photo of the menu. Vegetarians can enjoy the greek salad or a toasted sandwich, but we do not specialise in vegetarian meals. Your friend ordered a filter coffee with... More

Tapas was nice with very yum fresh bread. Guacamole very lemony though. Pulled pork generous but dry and tasteless - needs some sauce. Service very friendly and quick. Don't go if you can't eat around smokers

Thank you for your review. I am saddened to hear your pulled pork meal was not perfect, as it is one of the favourites on the menu. I will check that dish again. As for your comment om the smoking, the bar, beer garden and front sitting/dinning room, is non-smoking and family friendly, with only a small outside section for... More
