This was our first visit (take-out) but certainly won't be our last! Our previous favourite Ottawa Thai place was a drive across the city, but this is in the west end, where we live. It not only equalled the flavours, but is also less expensive!...We arrived 25 minutes after ordering, and as they promised, the three dishes were ready and still hot when we got home. Today we were celebrating a birthday. Ordered stir fry, drunken noodles, mango salad and couple of curries. Curries were thick and creamy. I go often to My Thai village, this is the best Thai food in all of Ottawa. The owner and the staff are professional, attentive, genuine and ensure everyone has a delicious meal. Food is fine, service is horrible. Here we are in the middle of a pandemic. My wife ordered an hour in advance went to pick up the order, not ready! Order not even paced. Wife has to wait 20 minutes to half an hour as...god knows who comes and goes. We take exceptional precautions and this establishment screws up like this! Unacceptable. Not even an apology. These idiots don’t seem to have a clue. Look for other restaurants would be my advice.More

Third time we've ordered out from this restaurant, all big party sized orders. Food is consistently excellent. There are much better known Thai restaurants in the area, but the food from this place is easily as good as any. And for a bonus, the people...who run the place and serve customers are genuinely very friendly and service oriented..More

The restaurant has a really nice vibe, super clean, nice decor, and the man who served us was so sweet! Food was also very nicely plated and tasty :) We had a great time!

Went for dinner. The tom yum soup was rather bland. Pad Thai had very little meat & rather sweet without the flavour of the preserved veg that's usually in the mix. The stir fry basil beef was tough & a little too salty. The green...curry was watery instead of the thick stew that is expected with very little meat in it. The best dish was the crispy chicken in a spicy sweet & sour sauce. Overall portions are small & the flavour rather bland. The menu is small.More

This was the third time we have ordered from this restaurant, the food has always been good. We normally get the Pad Thai which I like because it is not as sweet as some of the other restraints, the curry is very tasty but it...could have more meat in the dish. The spring rolls were tasty as well.More

My husband and I have eaten at My Thai Village twice. The first time we ordered from the Richmond location by accident, but today we ordered from the Kanata location hoping it would be better. It was not. The pad thai was so boring and...dry and almost all noodles. It didn't have much of a flavour at all. His curry (both times) was soupy and bland. Reading other's reviews, I agree that I'd rather eat at a fast food thai place; they're less expensive and actually taste better! If you're looking for good Thai food in Kanata, I recommend Sabai Thai Cuisine, and Bangkok Buri in Centrum was surprisingly good! I wish these restaurants were in Kanata South instead of My Thai Village :(More

I have been a frequent visitor to Thailand over the last 30 years and most recently had the pleasure of trying A restaurant in Kanada called My Thai Village. The food there was absolutely delightful. I would give a special note to their excellent chicken...steak hors d'oeuvre/ appetizer as it is excellently prepared. The main entrées are all excellent. It is very reasonably priced and the service is more than exceptional. This is a gem of a restaurant and I can't wait to try more selections on their menu. I cannot think of another restaurant in the Ottawa area which surpasses this one for well done Thai cuisine!More
