As its address suggests, this restaurant sits in a walled garden high above the street, in an old building with floors above and below it. The location guarantees a quiet and peaceful lunching experience on a warm summer's day sitting on a shady terrace. If you think atmosphere is important, this place will please you. We chose the 30 euro... More

We had a lovely meal here the children especially enjoyed the meals. The flavours in our food were delicious. Would visit again. The only thing that was slightly lacking was atmosphere.

It is very strange that this place, which such a good location and so many opportunities, can be so neglected. It can be splendid restaurant with a lovely terrace surrounded by a beautiful garden....but instead it is a basic place with rather good food, not expensive, but the garden....well in fact it is more a collection of weed that has... I have been dinning many times in this restaurant over the past 10 years. During summer, during winter .. I can tell that this place serve a Provençal food to die for ! The menu is display on blackboard and change every day, the produces are locally sourced and are what Provence as the best to offer. The chef is... More

The diner was great and all my colleagues were more than satisfied after this evening. We had fresh "caillettes" or "tartare de truite de Sorgues" as starter. then "Pintade fermiere á la tapenade" or "rable de lapin aux Herbes". Everything was made from the day with fresh vegetables. We had the diner outside , so calm as you can really... More

The chef here is young and inventive. The building interior is lovely in Provencal style. A place for a special evening. The outdoor terrace is up a stairs far from the street which provides wonderful silence. Fine menu.

We really didn't expect too much from this restaurant. Nevertheless, we were disappointed. Our half bottle of wine was way overpriced for what we got. We chose the daily menu for nineteen euros. The appetizer consisted of three totally mushy shrimp - I have never encountered seafood of that consistency anywhere and have no idea what they did to it.... More

This is a real restaurant, not the typical French brasserie. The food is great. Menu is good value and staff is friendly. Just one remark: sometimes the courses come too quickly... we like to eat slowly and enjoy our evening.

Not fine dining but good French food and well worth the effort especially for its ideal location in upper Malaucene. The large outdoor terrace, comprising garden and eating space, abuts the large old Bastide type church and sits above an inclined street lined, yes, by large mature plane trees. I ordered a aubergine mouselline starter and cabillaud (cod) main, and... More
