After a walk on the river the yew tree was a welcome sit down for a late lunch with our standard poodle toby. We shared a meal of home made pate picalily and bread. Wine 2 was excellent and beer served in a delightful lady glass. Service was welcoming and really we couldn't fault any part.

Popped in after a long day walking with two small children just before closing time expecting to be told only take away would be available. Very happy to be wrong and instead greeted with a very warm welcome, superb coffee and cake and a hot milk for the little one. Would definitely return. What a lovely way to round off... More

Called for refreshments after a walk in Broxa Forest. Was really impressed with the place. Proper coffee, excellent cakes and a really friendly service. We were so impressed that a week later after a 7 mile walk from Cloughton we returned, this time for lunch. What a great find, warm goats cheese tart with salad and a smoked salmon ciabatta... More

Visit the Yew Tree Cafe quite regularly. I love their pate and toast with side salad. The Cafe is always busy and the food is consistently good.

Waitress service in this popular village tea room and cafe. It offers an extensive menu and appears to have a healthy regular trade. The service was good and the food and drink of a high standard. Highly recommended.

I have visited the Yew Tree Cafe twice in the past week for breakfast. I have never been before and was very impressed with the quality of the produce used, the friendly staff and the comfortable surroundings. I had the Yew Tree breakfast on both occasions. The sausages and bacon were exceptional quality and taste as was the rest of... More

Delightful cafe, ideal place for a homemade cake & a cuppa, or a delicious lunch with traditional favourites or something original. I have always found the staff extremely friendly and polite 😊 I have eaten here once in the evening too and that was a real treat.
