Fully booked, we were lucky our booking was made largely in advance. The restaurant respects strictly the Covid-19 distancing and other rules. If you stand up without a mask, a soft reminder arrives immediately, in a very friendly way but firmly. The staff was very...efficient, helpful and friendly, always smiling (with a mask, we could only see nice smiling eyes, pity) despite of the pressure and lunch time rush. Bravo ladies ! We all went for the "Tout cuit" Royal preceeded by a Coupe de Champagne & 3 huitres... nice combination, we were not disappointed. Nice presentation, fresh food and nearly impossible to finish this nice portion for six. The choice of wines was also very rich. We will keep a very nice souvenir from this nearly three hours’ culinary experience and will do our best to get back when in the region.More

Was recommended this place by a friend and it really did not disappoint. The food was amongst the best i have ever eaten. The oysters to die for as was the dessert. The service was both informal and impeccable. Love to visit again soon.

No wonder why this is considered one among the best fish restaurants of la Cote d'opale. The fish quality was stunning. We got two plateaux fruits de mer with lobster, crab, oysters, mussels, etc. The taste of each was so delicate and fresh. Charming restaurant...and village, friendly service, price absolutely in line with the food. A must. Don't forget to book though. Even better via Messanger being their phone line always busy.More

We absolutely love it here, and try to eat here whenever we're in the area. This time we came for lunch, we hadn't booked, but they were easily able to accommodate us, although by the time we left, to catch our eurotunnel train back to...the UK, it was pretty full. My husband had 6 juicy and sweet oysters and then one of their fish dishes, the roasted cod, which he said was one of the best pieces of cod he has ever eaten. I didn't have a starter, but just waited for him to enjoy the oysters and then tucked in to my Caudiere du Cap - a thick fish soup, with lots of mussels, a large crayfish and lots of veggies. Had never had this dish before, it was absolutely wonderful - there was a touch, I think, of smoked paprika, which just lifted the dish .... Highly recommend this dish. It more than made up for not being able to enjoy a sole meuniere, which obviously wasn't available as they like to make dishes from whatever the fishing boats bring in! Too full for a dessert or coffee, it was just delicious! Will definitely be back - again!More

The place is a paradise for seafood lovers! We were recommended to book a table at "La Marie Galante" by a local who told us that it's "the place to be". It's all true; the place is a true paradise! With had a Royal Seafood...Plateau... it was so great, so fresh, so tasty and so much :-) . Best advice ever!!! My Tip: if you plan a trip in the region, call them at least 1 or 2 weeks upfront otherwize you'll be kindly be told that it's full booked.More

Dont complicate life : order either a fresh fish or a plateau de fruits de mer. Both are superb. Fresh and simply great. Service is rapid friendly and basic. Wine selection is decent and with enough affordable different wines. Beatrice (the owner) and her sister...run the place with german efficiency and French savoir vivre. Maybe thats why the Marie Galante is fully booked every day ? PS There are still people who order steak-frites and wash it down with a brown ale. In our modest opinion they should be tarred, feathered and exposed on the public square. But hey, les gouts et les couleurs......More

We had a memorable meal here. Straight off the Channel Tunnel, we gave up on the motorway and drove down the beautiful coast road in blazing sunshine, heading for lunch in this welcoming, cosy and well-run restaurant. It was a Friday lunchtime, and it was...full. Full of happy people, contentedly eating their way through towering plates of crab, lobster, langoustine, prawns and delicious oysters. Our order came quickly, and it was delicious. Well cooked and uncomplicated - just great seafood. If you’re looking for good seafood within half an hour of the Tunnel, try La Marie Galante - but make sure you book in advance. We will certainly be back.More
