My partner and I took a taxi from main street Luganville to the Oyster Bay ferry stop. The taxi will cost approx. 2000-3000 Vatu return (approx. $23-$35 AUD). At the ferry stop you ring a bell (whack the big metal drum with a stick) to call the ferry/boat over from Oyster Island. The ferry takes about 60 seconds to get... More

My daughter and I kayaked from the Matevulu blue hole to oyster island and stopped over for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was rather expensive for the quality but that seemed to be quite common in all of Santo. The water, beach and restaurant area were great and is definitely a must see for visitors!

The whole experience was awesome. It starts with ringing a bell (well actually hitting a empty metal cylinder with a iron bar) which signals the boat to come over from the island to collect you. We went on a Sunday and enjoyed the buffet. You can snorkel right next to where the boat pulls up and in front of the... More

Loved the little short ferry ride to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is casual and open air - almost like Bali. Menu was limited but who could go past Lobster, salad and chips for $25.00 AUD. Lovely little place to wander around - sort of like your own little Pacific island. If I ever went back to Luganville I... More

What a beautiful place! We were lucky enough to be there on a Sunday for the buffet lunch - Yummo - how good was that! The bungalow was not very big, but all you need and use of space was good, very clean and on the water - what more could you want!! Food sensational as they have their old... More
