Stayed overnight with some friends. Only 4 rooms but all were lovely and kept very clean. Sky, DVD player and coffee/tea all in the room. Breakfast cooked to order (you choose the night before and select your time) and the pub was very cosy with free parking and a good selection of beers. About a 15 minute walk into Chipping... More

This was a one off as we did not know where to go and looked on Trip adviser. It was a great success, Good Food, a welcoming pub, with a good cellar. The pub was warm , not too hot and dog friendly. I would recommend the pub

I always trust local recommendations and my trust was justified this week. We popped in for a quick lunch before return to London. Well, the food was so good and we wanted to linger so we stayed for a couple of hours! The ham was absolutely perfect. Not too salty and so tender with very little fat. The fried egg... More

This functioning Bar and restaurant has 4 well equipped rooms all with individual wifi which makes for great connection. Plenty of free parking in their private and secure lot. Bar closes and is empty by 11 pm which makes it a quiet place to stay. Guests have a private Key and help line number(if needed) to get in after hours.... More

Had dinner here, thought the food was far better than average pub grub, the wines appeared to be good value, and thought they were a little cheaper than the average. I believe it might be wise to book a table in advance at weekends as it was entirely full the Saturday we were there, they were having to turn people... More

Booked for lunch to meet friends. Excellent non-intrusive and friendly service. The food was also excellent and very reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet unrushed lunchtime meeting. Many thanks.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Bell. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. The food was wonderful - served nice and hot and the extra gravy we requested was very tasty. There is a wide range of desserts including a delicious apple and berry crumble with a little jug of custard. I can thoroughly... More
