Visiting family , up from Cornwall. Been here many years ago so thought we'd try it again . What a sating , sitting right by the canal. Very popular for lunch, 1200 not too bad . They do a special menu for the over 60s , smaller portions, which went down very well . It was pie week , so... More

This is mine and my parents place of choice when meeting up for lunch . Food is lovely although if you're a regular then you'll find the menu isn't large. It would have got 5 stars but they've recently changed their chips , which were the best part of a Barbridge meal.

For a pub this was exceptional food - traditional and very tasty - friendly and welcoming staff - nothing too much trouble.

Lovely lunch in the restaurant overlooking the canal . Loads of room inside and out. Seating area outside very large and pretty. Reasonable prices and a good selection on lunch menu

Dropped in here on Monday this week, with my wife and Ellie the golden retriever. Lunchtime it was very quiet with about 8 people there. Asked if Ellie could come in. No problem either the bar or the conservatory. We sat by a radiator in the conservatory looking out over the garden, which had a very good child play area.... More

We have eaten at The Old Barbridge Inn quite a few times and never been disappointed. There is also a very nice walk along the Shropshire Union Canal which is easily accessed from the inn. There are normally plenty of canal boats passing through the area giving the idea of past times.

Passing by on a visit from North Wales and popped in for a Sunday lunch. Staff were excellent, very polite. The Sunday lunch itself was gorgeous, very generous portions. Unfortunately the partner wasn't very well so didn't eat much. Would visit more if we lived closer.

Great venue in the summer months. Can sit outside in the beer garden next to the canal and see the world float by. Popular with locals and gets a mixed crowd from Crewe and Nantwich area. Nice food. Hanging baskets were lovely and memorable. Toilets were clean. Friendly staff. Nice for a little run out in the country for a... More
