Another dog friendly food and drink stop. We went on recommendation and were not disappointed. The wife had a medium well done steak, perfectly cooked and I had the pan fried Hake which was to die for. Both staff and locals give you the warmest...More

We ate at the Crown three times and each time the food was excellent. Very good portions and well cooked . The first time the pub was very busy so there was a bit of a wait, but the food was hot and very good....More

We ate mid-day on a Thursday. We were the second food order placed and it took 40 minutes to get a meal of "brunch", jacket potato and fish & chips. I complained when the food arrived (in three separate deliveries, with brunch last to arrive)...More

Had a Sunday roast, the quantity was large but everything was old, overcooked and dried out. It was taken off the menu after us but should not have been served. If you like old fashioned cooking dating from the sixties then this is for you.

St. Ewe is somewhat off the normal routes but well worth a visit for the excellent home cooked food. Well kept cornish beers and a menu of 'pub grub' staples with a few extra daily specials.

We called in here to have our dinner as we were staying at a local farm B&B. It has a large car park which is useful, and the pub is a proper old-style village inn that serves pub food. All the staff were friendly and...More
