Lovely staff here and a great menu - I wanted to try it all. The fruity soda drinks were tasty (homemade strawberry syrup) and I can highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken. My boyfriend had a spicy curry and the lovely waiter said he could have it as mild as he wanted, but luckily my boyfriend loves spice. One... More

The kopitiam is on the main Street in Phuket old town, they have two restaurants (separated by a herb shop) serving the same menu. Lots of choices on the menu (most dishes are served with rice but you can ask for no rice). Their kitchen is very small but very clean, nice staff and lovely decoration. One of the best... More

First of all, I really like the "Oriental and Vintage" atmosphere here. They served great Thai cuisine and I love their Iced Thai Milk Tea. We ordered Fried Flat Noodles, Tom Yum Noodles and Coconut Soup with Seafood. The dishes were tasty but the Tom Yum was tooooooo hot (FYI, I'm a Malaysian who can take spicy food), so please... Visited for lunch on strong recommendation of friends. A cute family managed restaurant is a beautiful vjntage street, seemingly of Chinese origin. The ambience was a carry forward of many years back, with old family pictures adoring the walls. The food was in flavour different from traditional Thai, but very delicious nevertheless. Each item we tried was great. We polished... More

Kopitam was one of the first local Thai restaurants I ate at where I want scared of the food. ;) I have been there more than 20 times living here for 2 years. The staff is such a lovely family and always remember the ones that return. Prices are great and service is speedy. A definite must eat if you... More

My partner and I stopped into Kopitiam after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and needless to say it did not disappoint us. The food and drinks are incredible and the service is great. The staff are really friendly and helpful too and they speak English very well, which helps when you're just finding your feet in a new place. I would... More

My partner and I just arrived in Phuket after a long sweaty bus ride from Koh Tao. After stopping at the hostel we checked TripAdvisor for the most local and affordable place and found Kopitiam. A really friendly welcome and a well illustrated menu on arrival had us debating for a while before settling on a set menu for 600... More

The Phuket-style grilled pork is the BEST! The sauce that comes with it is AMAZING. It's not spicy( but you can add red pepper flakes to it) so it's enjoyable for anyone. Also the iced coffee with condensed milk is great.

Eaten in a lot of restaurants around SE Asia and the quality here matches the best. Spring rolls - perfect with a delicious dipping sauce. Chicken Massaman was INCREDIBLE. Depth of flavour, quality of the meat, amazing. They also served us on their break so I can only thank them for not allowing me to miss out. I loved this... More
