    As you drive down to the little fishing village of Praia de Benagil...the O Algar is on the side of a hill on your left. This is a family run restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere and service.

    Consistent over 20 years of visits!

    We have been visiting The Algarve for over 20 years and our number one restaurant to head to is always O Algar. Always a friendly reception and delicious food. Highly recommend the Monkfish Rice I know it's boring but I have it nearly every time...More

    Super view and lovely food

    Visited during our late summer holiday. The views are special and the food was very nice. We also found the bill to be very reasonable.
