Great food and service and lovely atmosphere. Proper quality cooking at a decent price. We have been there a few times, as a couple, family and in a group of 7. On every occasion the food has bee excellent. We will be back!

Had starters & main course...Steak for main , black pudding for starter...Was absolutely delicious, service of a very good standard. Nice astomphere, nice simple way to spend a evening.

Delicious well balanced flavours, wanted more of everything I had tonight it was all so delicious. Highly recommended. Staff were very friendly and helpful, service as good as the food!

What a great place to have dinner. Good ambience, friendly helpful polite staff. Nothing was trouble to help patrons with. Children were well catered for too. Food was absolutely fantastic. I had fish and chips, nicely presented and tasted delicious. Fish was so fresh. Others...More

Been trying to eat in purple onion few times...everytime we go there its close...such a disappointment each time...remember it used to be close only monday evening...
