Lovely old pub provides a very friendly welcome and excellent range of choices on the regularly changing menu from faggots to top quality steaks all at very reasonable prices and huge portions. Three courses is quite some challenge!

Our meal (for two) came to £34.90. A little higher than I was expecting, but then the meal was a lot better than I was expecting.

Yes we often get wheel chairs into the whole pub! You will just need to let a member of staff know when you arrive so we can open the side gate for you, unfortunately we do not have disabled toilets.....

The Chichester Arms is a traditional 15th century thatched inn and has been the hub of village life in Bishops Tawton since 1880AD. Our idea of pub food is not fussy gastronomy; it's proper "Man food" prepared and cooked here at The Chichester Arms by myself and my small team. Chefs Rav, Paul & Charlie driving the kitchen forward with indulgant long lunches, teatime temptations, season light bites and heart-warming suppers. We make no apologies for serving foam on our beer & gravy on our roasts. A warm welcome is extended to old friends and new.
