Have visited the cafe a few times and the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend the savoury tart. 😋

I enjoyed my relaxed lunch here with family. We all loved our burgers and sandwiches and there are friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. The shop attached is worth a look too! Pop in here for lunch or tea and cake and you won't be disappointed

Cafe carries a small range of Paninis, baguettes and soups as well a home baked cakes. £7.95 for a burger is a bit pricey but we didn't try them so cannot comment on value as such.

All our other menu items: Panini's, filled rolls, Jacket Potatoes, home... More

We visited The Cafe on recommendation of the hotel we were staying at nearby. Worth a visit for the delicious homemade cakes. We were not disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here recently, of homemade soup and cake. Best soup we've had while we've been out and about touring round Scotland.

The new owners of Glenbarr Nursery/coffee shop have refreshed the cafe with a choice of traditional tables and comfy sofas, new art work and a great selection of baking and light meals. The new management gave us a warm welcome and have clearly put a great deal of effort into the cafe, nursery and shop. Definitely worth a visit and... More
