The Cock Inn Blakeney is a good pub for a swift 1/2, a chat over a pint or two, an evening meal or a Sunday lunch. A good selection of beers. Off road parking. Once or twice a month live music events.

Went last night to this pub. The fire was blazing. Good start. The beer was great. The meal was home cooked and very nice. We will return during the week. Well done

While staying in this area we visited The Cock Inn for a drink and evening meal. The pub has a loverly atmosphere with a very varied menu. The food was well cooked and very nice with good friendly service. If you are in the area we would recommend a visit you will not be disappointed.

we had a friends sunday lunch here which was fantastic and the girls working the floor were friendly and attentive. The female owner was fine before she started drinking. once she had a couple of very large glasses of wine she became demanding and abrupt. The girls serving did their best to compensate for her bad behaviour and considering their... More

When I visited dear friends in Lydney in 2015 they took us to The Cock Inn-it is now a must-go-to on my travels to the U.K. Have been there three times now for dinner and each time has been wonderful. The food is delicious, the staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is just what I envisioned a pub to... More

What a shame that i witnessed the landlady puplicly humiliate the poor waitresses and call someone in the kitchen a horrid damming name. Food is excellent here but the owners need to stay off the booze and treat their staff with a little more respect, they are your front people. I would recommend this place if the owners stayed out... Visiting the area for the first time for the weekend. Drove past this inn on the way to our accommodation. Emailed to book later to make a reservation - was emailed straight back to confirm. The Inn was warm and homely. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Would go again if in the area.

Following a birthday party fuelled with prosecco and show tunes, the girls were in need of sustanance and we found it this Sunday lunchtime at the cock inn. Great banter with the staff and an exceptional roast beef lunch. A great couple of hours spent by the fire with great food set us up for the rest of the day.... More

Took my parents and family here for Sunday lunch on 8th Jan and enjoyed very good food and service. Very cosy atmosphere and a warm welcome by the staff. Best to book in advance I think as very busy on a Sunday. Will definitely visit again soon.

I'm Australian and was travelling with my English husband introducing our kids to his family. The Cock Inn was a highlight for me as a fab example of a "real" English village pub. Super friendly service by the owners, engaged with our kids and got out board games for them (thank you, you saved our oldest from complaining he was... More
